The rebirth of Spring! In this day retreat we will focus on the energy of Spring, symbolised as growth, renewal, movement, and flexibility.

On Saturday April 26th in the afternoon we will hold our second day retreat of the year. The theme of spring will be woven throughout the schedule.

Whether you're new to yoga, looking for a more deliberate practice, or seeking to balance body and mind, my Hatha yoga provides a nurturing and versatile experience. classes include:

Slower-Paced Practice: Hatha yoga focuses on individual poses (asanas) rather than a fast-paced flow, allowing you to hold postures longer and refine alignment. This makes it an accessible entry point for beginners.

Balanced Sessions: Each class typically includes a combination of physical poses, breathing exercises (pranayama), meditation and relaxation to bring balance to the body and mind.

I'm teaching a Restorative Yoga & Sound bath with Crystal Bowls class on Monday June 17th. .meditation.cy will be weaving her magic with her bowls, and I'll be guiding you through some restorative Yoga.....

But what is Restorative Yoga 🙄🤔 ❓

Restorative yoga is a style of yoga which relies heavily on props to fully support you so muscular tension is reduced and you can sink into a pose while using very little energy. It is a practice of stillness and rest that facilitates deep physical and mental restoration.

It has many therapeutic benefits for people experiencing high levels of stress and disease, and has even been used to support people with suffering from trauma.

Join us at 18:30 on Monday 17th and delve deeper into this deeply nourishing and restorative practice.

I have a new MORNING PREGNANCY YOGA CLASS to announce 😁

Mondays 09:00-10:00

The group classes are for 14 weeks + and are designed to support you during the final two trimesters of pregnancy as your body changes, and prepare your for labour. They are €50 per month (4 weeks) and include up to 4 classes.

In the classes we cover things like:

🔅Specific techniques to ease tension arising from pregnancy
🔅Relaxation techniques
🔅Breathing techniques for labour
🔅Meditations
🔅Guided relaxations /hypo birthing techniques

Are you a new mum? Looking to learn some gentle techniques to help you to recover from birth? And bond with some other new mums? Then this may be just the thing for you!

Join me for a morning of mum and baby yoga, including some rehabilitation for your core and pelvic floor, and gently start to rebuild your strength and fitness in a mindful and nourishing way. There will also be some playful baby yoga and relaxation techniques. Following the class there will be some time to sip tea and meet with other mums and babies.

These classes are suitable for mothers from 6 weeks postpartum, or from when your Caesarean scar is healed. Babies are welcome until they start crawling. 

Each month, rehabilitation and appropriate strength building and yoga asana (poses) will be introduced as well as providing relaxation and restorative techniques. The classes balance strengthening and relaxing/restorative poses to support you in your recovery.

The objective of the classes are to give you some techniques you can use at home for yourself and your baby, as well as give you an opportunity to bond and support your fellow new mums as you psychologically and physically adjust to motherhood. 

We will work to close the body and re-knit abdominal muscles using specific movements, yogic breathing and gentle strengthening movements to restore tone to the deep muscles of the pelvis and lower back. In addition to the physical benefits of these breathing techniques, deeper relaxation is induced helping to reduce postnatal fatigue. Some months there will be some meditation as well as breathing and mindful movement to reduce stiffness and pain as well as focusing on connecting with your postnatal body. 

Babies (pre-crawling) are welcome and interactive mother and baby yoga moves will be incorporated, which are great for connecting with your baby in a nurturing and loving way.

Breast and bottle feeding is welcome as well as nappy changes, baby naps ….. whatever works for you and your baby.

Join my weekly yoga for pregnancy and birth preparation classes to learn techniques and exercises that will support you throughout your pregnancy and labour journey. This class runs on Wednesdays from 18:00-19:00 and are paid monthly (per 4 weeks).

Here's what you'll gain from my classes:

✨ Targeted exercises and movements to maintain & enhance fitness and flexibility

✨ Specific techniques to ease tension and complaints arising from pregnancy

✨ Discover movements, exercises, and breathing techniques that will ease pain during pregnancy and labour.

✨ Techniques to assist your baby to find the best position for a natural birth

✨ Strengthen your pelvic floor with specialised exercises.

✨ Connect with your baby on a deeper level through relaxation and bonding techniques.

✨ Gain valuable knowledge about labour and postnatal care.

The classes help women to give birth with minimal intervention, whilst acknowledging this may not be possible for all. Physical and emotional health of mother and baby throughout pregnancy is prioritised, so that you will leave you feeling empowered and ready to embrace motherhood

I'm a seasoned yogi and a mother with over 25 years of experience, and have dedicated the past 8 years to supporting women throughout their pregnancy and postnatal journeys.

If you are new to yoga, or are looking for a class that uses the traditional foundations of yoga as a basis then my Mindful Yoga classes might be for you!

I bring 25 years experience of learning and practising yoga to my classes, weaving in physical movements (asana) with meditation and traditional breathing techniques.

There is a weekly theme relating to either technique, anatomy, philosophy, or inspired by daily life, relating to the yoga practice. Each class begins with an introduction to the theme, a chant and a meditation or breathing exercise, followed by the physical movements of yoga, combined with specific yogic breathing, ending with a guided relaxation.
