I struggle to put in words the feeling of watching this special young artist performing in his “home” (art studio). An unplanned visit after a difficult day at work gave me a much needed soul calmness/ meditation travelling through The Scene: the Artist, the body movements, the colours, the scents, the dim light, the night and the multiple paintings around, but above all how a painting unfolds from nowhere to everywhere. Not a usual scene for me. Thank you for this unique experience. See you soon again… there.

Menopause: A big thank you to the organisers from inviting me in the screening of the “M Factor”. This is a great achievement for Cyprus women. Tamsen Fadal has put an enormous effort to complete a documentary from which not only I refreshed my knowledge but also I learned.

Women might or might not have kids, fibroids, endometriosis but they will ALL have menopause. A 1/3 !!! of their life’s spend in menopause but we talk and do so little about it. Couldn’t “Women’s Health”’(menopause included) be taught in schools and skip other unnecessary subjects? This will help women to prepare what’s coming and prevent what can be prevented.

Don’t expect from Drs to know or do more. We should all empower women towards self-education in order the get the most of it.

🟡 2025 Endometriosis Online Discussion | Join us for an open and empowering discussion on endometriosis! 💛 This virtual gathering will provide a supportive space to share experiences, ask questions, and gain expert insights into the disease.

💬 Dr Andreas Stavroulis, MD, Gynaecologist and President of EndoMarch Cyprus, will lead the conversation, addressing your concerns about endometriosis and answering questions in both English and Greek. Dr. Stavroulis will discuss endometriosis, its symptoms, pain management, fertility challenges, and the critical importance of early diagnosis.

We’re also honoured to have Lone Hummelshoj, Creator and Publisher of Endometriosis.org, Programme Manager of the Endometriosis Phenome and Biobanking Harmonisation Project (EPHect), and co-founder of the Danish Endometriosis Society (1997), bringing invaluable expertise and advocacy to the discussion.

We’re also pleased to welcome Lysia Demetriou (PhD, Oxford University), a Researcher in Women’s Health who will provide updated insights on endometriosis, pain management and mental health.
