The Department of Orthopaedics and Traumatology is committed to providing patients with the highest quality of orthopaedic care and has expertise in all major orthopaedic specialties.
The department is operated by a team of experienced staff including Orthopaedic Surgeons that have been trained in contemporary medical centers around the world in a wide range of techniques and treatment methods.
Major orthopaedic operations undertaken include;
Hip and knee replacement (both total and partial), spinal column surgery including key-hole surgery, endoscopy and discectomy.
All traumatic injuries to bone and muscle are treated and we use the latest composite materials for osteosynthetic repairs.
Arthroplasty for all major joints i.e. hip, knee etc., are performed and replaced with latest generation prosthetics.
Post-surgical rehabilitation and management is performed by a combined team of surgeons, physiotherapists and support staff.
Diagnostic and preventative management of rheumatological diseases including rheumatism, arthritis, osteoporosis and tendinitis is also available.
