Saturday is for Stretch … or Strength??? I ve been putting words to the initials of each day of the week for quite some time now, looking for more ways to inspire my clients for the weekly schedule and their goals.
Saturday is the pillar stone of the weekend, everything revolves around it. The Saturday morning feeling when you wake up and take that very first STRETCH in bed is pure pleasure! So with that euphoric state of being, why not devote it to Stretching? It can be anything from 5 minutes in your bed, to a full stretch class on your mat, a stretch after your morning run, or when you’re done cleaning your house … if you have been driving for hours to go see family or travelling for work, don’t you need a good stretch after that? If you’re studying or working a long shift, you need to pause and stretch … to do this though, you need to find the Strength, the will, the motivation plus the physical strength to stretch, right? Lets say it clearly, how many people actually love to stretch? It’s debatable! How many know the benefits of stretching? Almost everyone! So the verdict goes to “Saturday is for Stretch AND Strength!”Whatever works for you, whatever triggers the mind to take the decision to sit on that mat … or maybe stand? Unless you want to do a full Strength day 😆 😂Have a great one!
