This is just the stuff I see over and over (with myself, with clients) that actually leaves you feeling wiped out โ€” even if you think youโ€™re doing everything โ€œright.โ€

Itโ€™s the stuff you donโ€™t think is that big of a dealโ€ฆ but it adds up.

Like:

โ€” Skipping breakfast because mornings are crazy.
โ€” Saying yes to things you didnโ€™t really want to do.
โ€” Staring at a screen all day because youโ€™re bored.
โ€” Staying up late because itโ€™s the only time you get to yourself.

Iโ€™m not here to tell you to overhaul your lifeโ€ฆ

But maybe this is your reminder to pick just one of these and clean it up a little.

Not perfectly. Just enough to feel a bit more like yourself again.

Iโ€™m just going to say itโ€ฆ

Motivation is WILDLY overrated ๐Ÿ‘‡

I mean, if I only took care of myself when I felt โ€œmotivated,โ€ Iโ€™d probably still be hitting snooze 6 times and eating cereal for dinner.

It shows up when it wants toโ€ฆ

And leaves the second things get inconvenient.

So if youโ€™ve been waiting to feel โ€œreadyโ€ to join the gym or take your morning walk.

You might be waiting a long time.

Hereโ€™s what works better:

Make it so small and simple that motivation isnโ€™t even part of the conversation.
Like:

I donโ€™t need motivation to throw on sneakers and walk for 10 minutes.
I donโ€™t need motivation to add some protein to my breakfast.
I donโ€™t need motivation to refill my water bottle.

Those small things add up.

So if you needed someone to remind you that motivation isnโ€™t exactly dependableโ€ฆ consider this your sign.
