MY HEART IS DEVOTED TO ART.
Art expressed through yoga, music, dance, and painting.
In whatever form it appears, I embrace it.

Sometimes my focus is on yoga, sometimes on painting, sometimes on dancing, sometimes on playing music. People often tell me that I should focus on just one thing, that I should put all my energy into a single path so it can grow faster. But I cannot—and I do not want to—choose.

Each form of art nurtures my soul in a different way, yet all of them are deeply connected. They heal me, nourish me, teach me, and help me stay aligned and connected to myself—so I don’t get lost in the great illusion of the “world,” with its rules and expectations about how we should live.

Once you find what truly makes you happy and choose to follow that, happiness is no longer dependent on possessions, achievements, or external success.

This morning I woke up, looked out the window, saw the infinite blue of the sea, made myself a cup of tea, and sat down to paint. I did the same yesterday. My soul is yearning to paint. I hadn’t touched a brush for almost two months, yet now there is such a strong inner calling to express what lives within me through painting. Even as I write these words, I am simply waiting for a layer of paint to dry so I can continue.

What I truly want to say is this: real happiness comes from within.
From feeling content, inspired, creative.
From feeling love—and feeling loved.

I am deeply grateful that I still feel that soft “awe” for life, that I can still get lost somewhere between worlds, between realities. For me, that space is home. It is my heart, and it is the source of all my art.

As I always say and truly believe:
The art of life is to dance with your heart.

And whenever I support someone on their journey, I gently guide them back to the beautiful feeling of freedom through self-expression. Just as Nature expresses herself in countless forms—without asking for permission or validation—we, too, are meant to live this way.

I believe this is the only truly healthy way to live:
owning and fully expressing our unique beauty, our essence, who we truly are, what lives within us—while also deeply feeling our interconnectedness with all that is.

🌕LEO FULL MOON is here 🌕

It brings us face to face with our most authentic expression. Acting as a cosmic mirror, the full Moon in Leo reflects back the light we’ve been afraid to claim and the power we’ve been hesitant to own.

Ruled by the Sun itself, Leo is solar by nature. Just as our Sun doesn’t apologize for its existence, for shining , Leo reminds us that dimming our light serves no one. The full Moon in this fire sign carries the medicine of radical self-acceptance and the courage to be witnessed in our fullness.

Leo connects us to the part of ourselves that once knew how to play without purpose, create without criticism, and love without conditions.
Before the world taught you to monitor yourself, edit yourself, make yourself palatable, who were you? What did you love? What made you feel alive?

The Moon in Leo helps you remember that original innocence, that untouched creative spark, that playfulness that still exists within you, waiting beneath layers of conditioning.
Leo’s medicine is the remembrance that you are inherently worthy of love, attention, and celebration simply for existing.

The journey to authentic expression requires incredible bravery. Your heart doesn’t operate like your mind. It won’t give you five-year plans or guarantee outcomes. Instead, it speaks through sensation, through knowing, through the pull toward what lights you up and the resistance to what dims your flame. Leo teaches us that following these signals takes the courage of a lion. You might not know where the path leads, but your heart knows the next step. This full Moon in Leo strengthens your ability to trust that inner compass.

Happy Full Moon & See you tonight to a beautiful Full Moon Gathering 💙🌕

WHY SCENT REACHES PLACES WORDS NEVER CAN

There is a reason scent reaches places words never can.
Scent bypasses the thinking mind and speaks directly to the emotional and nervous systems — to memory, safety, longing, and release.
Scent is processed through the limbic system of the brain, directly influencing the amygdala, where emotions and memories are stored.

A single aroma can open something that has been held for years, without explanation or analysis.
It doesn’t ask us to understand.
It invites us to feel.

This is why I work with essential oils not as products, but as emotional allies.
They don’t force change.
They create the conditions for it.

For many women, scent becomes a gentle doorway back to themselves — especially when words feel insufficient. 🌸🌷🌹

GRATITUDE is a quiet practice that plants gentle seeds of calm in the heart; each thank-you waters the roots of resilience and joy. Tend this inner garden with simple breaths and small acts of noticing, and you’ll watch your life soften and bloom from the inside out.
Take a moment now to name one thing you’re grateful for—let it be the first petal of your day. 🌸

SOMETHING I DON`T OFTEN SAY ABOUT TRADITIONAL HIMALAYAN HATHA YOGA

There’s something I don’t often say about traditional Himalayan Hatha yoga.

It’s not designed to push the body to its limits!
It’s designed to change the way you relate to yourself!

This path is slow, steady, and deeply intentional.
We return to familiar postures and simple breathing practices — not because there’s nothing new to discover, but because depth unfolds when we give ourselves time and attention.

Traditional Hatha yoga works quietly.
It supports the nervous system, brings steadiness to the mind, and allows the body to soften back into its natural rhythm.

This is the yoga that shaped me — not only as a teacher, but as a woman. It’s the foundation of how I practise, teach, and hold space.

If you’ve ever felt that faster practices leave you more disconnected than nourished, this approach may speak to you. 🙏

✨ COMING SOON ✨
I’m quietly preparing something very close to my heart.

The Women’s Hatha Yoga Teacher Training – Soma Path is a one-year, in-person journey created for women who feel called to live yoga slowly, deeply, and with integrity.

This training is not about rushing, perfecting postures, or collecting certificates.
It is about embodiment, presence, nervous system awareness, and honoring yoga as a living path woven into daily life.

Over the coming weeks, I’ll be sharing more about:
🌿 the essence of the Soma Path
🌿 the structure of the training
🌿 who this journey is for

If you feel a quiet curiosity or a gentle stirring within, stay close 🤍
More details will be shared soon.

With love,
Dora

🌑 New Moon Sound Journey & Cacao Ceremony 🌑
20 January | Lea Women's Wellness and Arts Center

You are warmly invited to gather under the grounding energy of the New Moon in Capricorn — a sacred time to slow down, listen inward, and plant intentions rooted in clarity, stability, and devotion to your soul’s path.
Capricorn invites us to anchor our dreams into the body, to honor commitment, inner discipline, and the quiet strength that grows when we move step by step, with presence and trust.

During this evening, we will be guided by:
✨ A heart-opening Cacao Ceremony
✨ A deeply restorative Sound Journey to soothe the nervous system and support intention setting
✨ Gentle moments of reflection

This is an invitation to release what no longer serves, reconnect with your inner wisdom, and consciously welcome the new cycle with steadiness, intention, and grace.

Simple Food, Deep Nourishment 💚

For the past 12 years I have chosen a vegetarian way of eating, and I truly feel the long-term effects in my body, energy, and overall health.
During these years, I carried and gave birth to a strong, healthy boy, and breastfed him for six months, feeling well nourished and supported. My hair remains strong and vibrant, my nails are healthy, I hardly have grey hair, and I am rarely ill — signs of steady nourishment over time.
From both a yogic and physiological perspective, fresh plant-based foods support digestion, reduce inflammation, and provide essential vitamins, minerals, fibre, and antioxidants that support immunity, hormones, and cellular health.
In yoga, we speak of prana — life force energy. Fresh, colourful, minimally processed foods are rich in prana, while heavy, processed, or animal-based foods tend to deplete it. Colour on the plate matters — each colour carries different nutrients and energetic qualities that support the body’s natural intelligence.
All the meals you see here are simple, fresh, and prepared in about 30 minutes. Nourishment does not need to be complicated — just conscious, seasonal, and prepared with presence.
Vegetarian eating is not about rules or perfection.
It is a gentle way of choosing vitality, clarity, and respect for life 🌿

And yes… conscious living still has space for a really delicious pizza from time to time 😉

With love,
Dora 🤍

YOGA- Art of Life with Dora

Namaste Dear Visitor,

I`m Dora Nemes from Hungary, moved to Cyprus in the summer of 2015. That was the best decision of my life :) I love Cyprus; feeling home, manifesting and leaving my dreams here in Paphos :)

I am a qualified ( Yoga Alliance RYT200) Yoga Teacher, AromaTherapist & doTERRA Aroma Touch Therapist. I have been blessed by becoming a yoga teacher under the guidance of an indian master, Dr. Indu Arora, who is an internationally renowned yogini and ayurvedic yoga therapist (Yogsadhna - yoga as therapy - www.yogsadhna.com ). I am and always will be her humble student.

In my yoga studio, in 7 Buddhas Yoga & Massage Center, I created a very cosy and warm atmosphere teaching traditional indian hatha yoga and yin yoga, holding Small Group classes ( max 6 people) and Private Classes. The beauty of learning like this is that the practice can be developed at exactly the pace which is appropriate for you so you’ll end up getting much more out of the sessions and making progress at a much faster pace.
