Mindful.nest CZ Supporting mental health and well-being of young people and youth workers. We work mainly through Erasmus+ programme which co-funds our projects.

We offer workshops for schools & youth organizations and also international Erasmus+ projects. Mindful.nest CZ is a non-govenmental organization born out of a desire to create safe space for young people to explore and experience different opportunities and tools for improving their wellbeing and mental health. Our aim is to promote a conscious and sustainable way of living by creating context that supports people in becoming aware of their thoughts, emotions, and patterns and deepening their connection to themselves, other people, and the nature around. Bringing together the wisdom of the mind, body and soul, we use a somatic approach that combines the elements of meditation, mindfulness, and body movement. Our vision is to contribute to creating a more kind, mindful, loving and sustainable world.

SENSATION | Youth Exchange on exploring well-being through sensory experiences
📍 Elbląg, Poland

👥 5 participants + 1 group leader (residents of Czechia)

Sensation is a youth exchange that will gather 30 people from 5 countries to explore the topic of well-being through sensory experiences. The project will invite participants to experience their surroundings in different ways, such as mindful eating, going barefoot in the forest, taking a blindfold walk, kayaking, and grounding through guided meditations.

💬 This guided meditation invites you to slow down, reconnect with your breath, and softly scan through your body, noticing sensations and arriving fully in the present moment.

🚪 From this grounded awareness, the practice opens the door to imagination: a place that feels safe to you. A landscape, a room, a memory, or something entirely new. Somewhere your mind and body can rest and whenever life feels overwhelming, you can return to this inner place, a place that belongs only to you.

There’s a voice inside many of us that speaks in harsh tones. It points out flaws, magnifies mistakes and pushes us with pressure rather than care.

Mindfulness doesn’t try to silence this voice. It teaches us to recognize it, question it and respond with awareness instead of automatic self-attack.

When the inner judge is met with curiosity and kindness, it begins to soften.
And in that space, a more supportive inner voice can slowlyarise.

A participant-created reflection from Moving to the Core project.

Mindful walking invites you to feel each step and reconnect with your body, breath and senses right in the middle of daily life.
No special place, no extra time. Just awareness, one step at a time. 1️⃣

BE-IN | Learning mobility on belonging, expression, identity, and inclusion

BE-IN is an 8-day personal and professional development training for youth workers that will give you the chance to immerse into a journey of interdependence between your identity and community belonging through methods of NVC, embodiment, and nature-based practices.

In the training, you will:
✨ Strengthen self-awareness and emotional presence by developing body awareness, emotional literacy, and reflection on identity
✨Develop capacity for authentic and safe expression, including emotional communication, boundary-setting, and consent-based interaction
✨ Increase competence in creating inclusive and safe spaces through experiencing a sense of belonging in a community that creates conditions for gender equality, active participation, and inclusion as natural outcomes
✨ Learn to transfer learning into concrete youth work practice by identifying adaptable methods

🧩 This piece was shaped by the participants of Moving to the Core, as their own response to what slowing down felt like in the body.

🌬 Using breath, senses and stillness, they translated the project’s practices into a quiet reminder: when attention returns to what we can hear, see, touch, taste, and smell, something softens.

We recently held a local workshop in Brno for students, creating space to release tension and step out of the busy mind and back into the body.

Through simple, practical techniques, we explored ways to meet exam stress with more awareness and self-care.
