ParaCENTRUM Fenix invited us to their amazing Ples pro FENIX and we were so happy to attend!💃🥂

Moreover, we are excited that we can help the organization in building their comprehensive centre for people using wheelchairs after cervical spine injuries. It shall be open as early as 2028 in Modřice and we cannot wait to see the huge positive impact it will inevitably have! 🧑‍🦽‍➡️👏💪

Bon voyage!👋

Another year, another charity collection of clothes sent to Klub svobodných matek. The organization either sells them in their amazing Charity Fashion Shop, or sends packages of clothes to single-parent families in need all over Czechia.😍👕👗

A huge thank you goes to my wonderful colleagues from Purple Team who brought in hundreds of high-quality garments, as well as the Brno-based company KS-trans autodoprava a spedice who decided to drive the whole collection from our headquarters in Brno all the way to Prague for free as a charitable gesture, for the second time in a row. Thank you so much!💜🥹

February 9 is here with top 9 moments of 2025!👀😍

1️⃣Purple MeetUp in 2025 hosted our wonderful guests from supported organizations again and the topic of our meetup was Day to day at work. Now that we know what the everyday workload of each of them entails, our respect and admiration for them has grown even more!💪

2️⃣Our Purple Team collected 70 kg of clothing for Klub svobodných matek and KS-trans autodoprava a spedice from Brno transported it to Prague for free as they have a heart of gold🚛

3️⃣Our connection with LOCIKA - centrum pro děti ohrožené domácím násilím was meant to be since we found out that their brochures are featuring the spitting image of one of Purple Foundation members, Krištof😁

4️⃣Everyone is having a very dreamy time when Vodicí pes, z. s. brings over their pups for a puppy yoga session🐕‍🦺

5️⃣In 2025 we organized our first volunteer day event and it was a huge success - 50 of our Purple Team colleagues helped in 4 different locations in two days.🥹 Zoo Brno also made our childhood dreams come true because...

6️⃣... they drove us around in a ZOO train that surprisingly many of our parents had always considered an experience too luxurious to have in the past!🥰🚂

7️⃣Běh pro Světluška - Nadační fond Českého rozhlasu is now a tradition in Purple and it will definitely be repeated in 2026, hopefully with higher quality photos & better resolution (a slight fail on the side of the director)🏃‍♀️‍➡️

8️⃣The reconstruction of an ORL room in Dětská nemocnice of Fakultní nemocnice Brno that we financially supported is finished!👏 Now the tiny patients waking up after the surgeries can have their closest person by their side, helping them heal securely and in a nice environment🐣

9️⃣Last but not least, I would like to use this little collage to introduce and say a HUGE thank you to our PuFo assistant Daniela who comes running whenever a larger event is happening and we need help. She is a force behind many of our great moments and fantastic at her job😍

We shall now wait another year for the next top 9 moments, but I already know there will be a ton to choose from.📸 Here's to an eventful 2026!🥂💜

Our dear friends, it is time to sum up our help in 2025. First and foremost, we want to say a huge thanks to the Purple Team for making it possible!💜😍

We have been supporting most of the NGOs for years now and because we want to inspire others to help, too, I wish to tell you some of our randomly picked favourite things about each of them.☺️Let's go!

proFem o.p.s. are very creative in their fundraising efforts. Last autumn, the Mountfield Hradec Králové hockey club turned their game against Mladá Boleslav into a chance to support and spread awareness about ProFem. Brno Children's hospital at Fakultní nemocnice Brno introduced their new mascot - a squirrel called Deny (as in Dětská Nemocnice) and it will guide little patients through their hospital stay🐿️

Vodicí pes, z. s. has a senior home for all the assistance dogs who finished their training with them but cannot stay with their clients forever🦮

Nemocnice Milosrdných bratří has a closet full of clothes and shoes ready to give to their unhoused or socially disadvantaged clients when they leave the hospital👞

Masarykův onkologický ústav Brno has a long-standing cooperation with the VUT Faculty of Fine Arts in Brno. Besides their helpline and prevention programs, Linka bezpečí z.s. also visits sports clubs for young people and trains their coaches in recognising signs of domestic violence, eating disorders, and other issues in their trainees⚽

For 5 years now, Mezi námi, ops have been cooperating with the LEGO Group who provide senior homes and kindergarten children with LEGO sets they can build together🏰

Hospic sv. Alžběty jumped on the trend of life-like cat plushies which are a very effective way for patients with Alzheimer's or other forms of dementia to decrease stress and agitation🐈‍⬛

In 2025, Sanitka přání reached 100 wishes granted to clients with terminal illnesses 🚑

SOS dětské vesničky organize a visit of their childrens ombudsman twice a year, and the children get to pick their program - such as playing hide and seek or making burritos🌯

In PuFo, we have been striving to make the environment we live in better and a very important part of this initiative is helping hospitals in Brno.🏥🫶

In Fakultní nemocnice Brno, we decided to help renovate an ORL room in the Children's hospital for the tiny patients🤒and their parents, so that the children waking up after the surgeries can have their closest person by their side, helping them heal securely and in a nice environment 👩‍👧🛌

We hope that the room will serve the hospital for many years to come!🙏💜

💜 Velké poděkování Purple Foundation, nadační fond! 🙏✨

Díky daru nadačního fondu jsme v letošním roce mohli pořídit nové skříně na interní oddělení B a C 🏥. Tyto skříně slouží jak našim pacientům k uložení osobních věcí, tak sestrám na pomůcky pro ošetřování pacientů.

V minulých letech jsme díky Purple Foundation mohli například zakoupit porodní vanu a vybavit nadstandardní pokoj na gynekologicko-porodnickém oddělení 👶💖.

Our supported organisation proFem o.p.s. needs help. Why?😯

Because they are trying to offer help to victims of domestic and sexual abuse on a much larger scale now by opening a 3-bedroom flat that women with children can use as a shelter in times of crisis!🏡🫶

We are so thankful for all the great encounters we experience in Purple Foundation - not only with organizations, but with their individual members, too, who oftentimes become our PuFo friends.💜💪

One of them is definitely Mr Michal Odstrčil (pictured here celebrating his birthday at our first MeetUp!🎂) who spent over a decade directing the amazing ParaCENTRUM Fenix. We were surprised to learn he decided to pass over the baton to Mr Petr Houšť last year - what inspired this change? Where did his steps take him next? Is he staying in the non-profit sector?🤔

We love supporting Hospic sv. Alžběty in Brno. Why? Because we know that high quality palliative care is what every person deserves and who knows - in the future, us or our loved ones might need dignified help in the last days, weeks or months, too. It's good to know that in Brno, there is a place with professionals who are great at it! 💜

Říkáte si, co je to za krabice? To jsou velice užitečné krabice!

Díky daru Purple Foundation, nadační fond jsme mohli pořídit dva bateriové koncentrátory. Ty umožňují nemocným na kyslíku transport a pobyt mimo domov až na 5 hodin. A pro nemocné, kteří jsou trvale závislí na kyslíku, jsou důležitou zálohou při výpadku proudu a podobně.

V lůžkovém hospici je využijeme pro pacienty na výjezdy v pojízdných křeslech či na lůžku do prostor zahrady a parku areálu kláštera, kde hospic sídlí.
