Qatar is not just a wealthy desert state with skyscrapers, oil exports, and a GDP at the top of global statistics. It is also a country with a rich tradition of breeding purebred Arabian horses and a venue for prestigious international events for horse lovers.

Our partner in this country is the Al Galayel Equine Center, which provides a wide range of services not only to breeders and animal owners but also to veterinarians. This company is also the local importer and distributor of Bioveta’s veterinary medicines in Qatar.

As elsewhere in the world, interest in companion animals is growing in Qatar. Mainly cats, which are extremely popular in the Arab world, and dogs are increasingly becoming part of households. Since most residents and companion animals live in the capital city of Doha, a professional seminar for local veterinarians, organized by the Al Galayel Equine Center supported by Bioveta, was held there.

The program was sponsored by the regional director Věra Chlupová, who has long supported the development of professional cooperation in the region. The expert content of the seminar was presented by the product manager MVDr. Wuhib Ayele, Ph.D. In his presentation, he addressed vaccination schemes for dogs and cats as well as parasitic diseases that are relevant in this climatic zone – particularly fleas, ear mites, and heartworms.

As part of the program, we also introduced new products in our antiparasitic range. Bioveta continues to expand the export of its products worldwide, supporting professional communities. Our goal is to ensure that veterinarians in even the most remote regions can provide top-notch daily care for animal health.

From November 4 to 7, 2025, Bioveta welcomed a foreign delegation from Azerbaijan. The program was designed to provide visitors with a comprehensive view of our company and the country where Bioveta's products are developed and used. Through a combination of farm visits, clinical practice, and expert presentations, the guests had the opportunity to compare their own experience with the Czech approach to treatment and prevention in both small and large animals.

One part of the delegation focused on cattle issues and visited a significant dairy cattle farm in Velké Němčice, accompanied by our product manager MVDr. Ronen Hoikhman, Ph.D. The guests had the chance to see the operations of the extensive ZEMOS a.s. farm, learn about the organization and the dairy cow care system, as well as the methods farmers use to address health complications. The direct discussion about practical experience, allowing participants to gain a deeper understanding of modern practices in preventive and therapeutic veterinary care utilizing Bioveta's products, was also highly valuable.

The second group focused on small animal medicine and headed to the Hladíkovi Veterinary Clinic in Brno. Under the guidance of our product manager MVDr. Bc. Karel Paukner, Ph.D., the delegation toured the modern facility dedicated to providing top-notch veterinary care. This allowed the guests to gain a realistic picture of the level of Czech clinical practice and the role Bioveta's products play in it.

A key point of the program was the visit to Bioveta in Ivanovice na Hané, where the delegation was welcomed by Ing. Jan Bittner, the regional director of Bioveta. The guests had the opportunity to participate in a tour of the Bioveta's premises, including production and storage areas, gaining detailed insight into the processes associated with the production of veterinary medicines. The visit continued with parallel expert sessions focused on small and large animals, led by our product managers MVDr. Bc. Karel Paukner, Ph.D., and MVDr. Ronen Hoikhman, Ph.D.

The professionally oriented program was complemented by cultural and social activities. The Azerbaijani delegation visited the historic town of Kutná Hora, explored the sights of Prague, and tasted specialties of Czech cuisine in several selected restaurants. During the visit, a small birthday celebration took place for one of the participants, who received a dessert with a candle as a pleasant surprise.

The visit was characterized by a pleasant professional atmosphere, a spirit of experience exchange, and brought many stimulating discussions.

Continuing the tradition, during 20-21st of November 2025, another episode of the collaboration between the Bioveta company and the Iasi veterinary academic environment it happened and future professionals in the field (romanian and foreign) participated in an interactive meeting whose main theme was: "Current trends in specific immunoprophylaxis in the management of equine and rabbit sector". The meeting was captivating and auspicious, in a warm atmosphere through which we tried to familiarize them with the existing options so that the transfer and integration into the professional environment would be easier.

Thank you for your cooperation and good luck!

As every year, Bioveta was present at the 17th edition of the AMVAC Congress, the most important annual event for companion animal veterinarians in Romania.

In a festive atmosphere, over 1000 participants from the country and abroad attended this inspiring event, exchanging experiences at the highest professional level, and the presence of over 60 exhibiting companies that showcased their latest innovations and news in the field gave a special importance to the moment. In addition, we had the honor of having Martina Naceradska DVM PhD as a speaker, who shared information with the audience on "Applying cat-friendly principles: insights from two decades of cat-centered veterinary practice".

We thank the participants, collaborators and organizers and we look forward to seeing you again in 2026.

On October 8-9, 2025, the regular Moločná Ferma conference took place in the Ukrainian city of Lviv. This event has become a traditional meeting place for cattle, sheep, and goat breeders from across Ukraine.

For the first time, a separate section for sheep and goat breeders was held, attended by approximately 60 specialists. In total, nearly five hundred participants visited the event over the two days, making it a very well-attended occasion.

Bioveta Ukraine, as a traditional participant and sponsor of the conference, contributed with its booth and two presentations. In the sheep and goat section, MVDr. Jiří Neužil, regional director of Bioveta, presented on the topic of Bluetongue in the Czech Republic in 2024. In the cattle breeders' section, Sergej Rozgonuck from Bioveta Ukraine spoke about respiratory diseases in cattle.

Both presentations received a great response, as vaccination is the only effective defense against bluetongue, which has already been reported near the Ukrainian borders.

The Bioveta booth was also bustling, as participants wanted to see these vaccines, their models, and especially the usage schemes. This time, the event took place without sirens and alarms, which was appreciated by all attendees.

In the second half of October, Bioveta welcomed a group of veterinarians and pig breeding specialists from the Benelux region. The visit was part of a study trip organized by the Dutch company Kernfarm as part of its educational program for partners and clients.

After visiting the South Moravian metropolis of Brno, the guests continued their journey to Ivanovice na Hané. The morning session began with a presentation by Bioveta, a.s., led by our regional director, Mgr. Jiří Vojtěch. This was followed by a presentation from Kernfarm. The program then continued with a tour of the production facility, guided by Mgr. Martin Tkáč, who expertly led the participants through the company and introduced them to modern technologies and production processes.

The afternoon session was dedicated to expert lectures. Our company was represented by product manager MVDr. Ronen Hoikhman, Ph.D., who led a presentation on the prevention of common enteric diseases in newborn piglets. The afternoon block was further complemented by presentations focused on the practical use of laboratory tests and approaches to addressing selected respiratory diseases in pigs.

The day's program dedicated to the visit to Bioveta was concluded with a collective discussion. Participants then moved to a hotel in Hustopeče, where they were accommodated. The evening was enhanced by a wine tasting and dinner in the pleasant atmosphere of South Moravia.

We thank Kernfarm for their cooperation in organizing the event and all participants for their interest in our company.

We had the honor of welcoming an exceptional guest to Bioveta – MVDr. Josef Tabery, Ph.D., a respected expert and one of the leading veterinarians in the Czech Republic, who has long been dedicated to cattle diseases.

Dr. Tabery delivered a professional presentation on respiratory diseases in cattle, which was accompanied by a lively and thought-provoking discussion. The lecture was part of our ongoing commitment to the education and professional development of Bioveta employees, ensuring that our commercial and expert teams continue to provide customers with the most up-to-date information from veterinary practice.

In his presentation, Dr. Tabery emphasized hands-on clinical experience and innovative approaches to both the treatment and prevention of respiratory diseases in intensive cattle farming. He highlighted the importance of proper implementation of preventive measures, especially vaccination, and stressed the need for a differentiated therapeutic approach based on the type of herd and housing conditions.

As part of prevention, he also underlined the significance of balanced nutrition and high-quality zootechnical conditions, which form the foundation of animal health. He confirmed the global trend in modern livestock farming, which builds on animal welfare principles and aims to reduce antibiotic use in dairy herds.

We consider the education of our staff, who work daily in the field and interact with veterinarians throughout the Czech Republic and abroad, to be essential. This enables our sales representatives and product managers to continuously provide top-level professional support and thus contribute to the advancement of modern veterinary care in livestock production.

Hradec Králové once again became the center of veterinary medicine in the Czech Republic on October 10–11, when it hosted the VETclasses 2025 veterinary congress and accompanying exhibition.

More than 300 veterinarians and a record 140 veterinary nurses gathered at the Aldis Congress Center. The scientific program was complemented by 56 exhibitors, including Bioveta, which once again ranked among the most prominent participants.

The Bioveta exhibition booth was one of the most visited. Great interest was shown in the new products of our portfolio as well as in our attractive commercial offers, which resulted in more than 150 orders being placed – roughly meaning that every second visitor to the exhibition took the opportunity to order Bioveta products.

Bioveta also sponsored the professional seminar “Upper Respiratory Tract Diseases,” led by MVDr. David Hanzlíček, DVM, and, as in previous years, sponsored the social evening, which was one of the highlights of the entire event.

We would like to thank everyone who visited us at the congress for their interest in our products and for their long-term cooperation.

We look forward to seeing you again at future professional and social events!

Bioveta actively participated in one of the largest global veterinary congresses and the largest in the Hispanic world: Congreso Veterinario de León (CVDL) in Mexico.

The congress is known for its extensive professional program. The 30th anniversary edition attracted a total of 22,748 participants from September 3 to 6, 2025. Dr. Alberto Velásquez presented Bioveta, a traditional manufacturer of veterinary vaccines based in the Czech Republic, delivering vaccines worldwide. He highlighted the societal benefits of dog vaccination, which reduces the risk of leptospirosis and rabies infections in the human population. Our presence was supported by CzechTrade and the Czech Embassy in Mexico.

The One Health concept benefits not only people but also dogs, cats, and other animals. It is based on the idea that the health of people, animals, and the environment is interconnected. It promotes knowledge sharing, responsible approaches, and interdisciplinary collaboration that accelerates progress in health protection on a global scale. Bioveta shares this approach and considers it an integral part of its existence. With modern production concentrated in one location in the Czech Republic, utilizing the latest technologies, sustainable principles, and in-house vaccine development, we provide products that protect animal health and, indirectly, human health worldwide. Our rabies vaccines are used in dogs, cats, livestock, and wildlife. Bioveta has significantly contributed to the recovery of the Czech Republic and other European countries from this deadly zoonotic disease. We also focus on vaccines against the most common strains of the life-threatening bacterium Leptospira, which threatens not only the dog population but also human health. High vaccination rates in the dog population, as confirmed by numerous scientific publications, significantly reduce the incidence of leptospirosis in humans as well. It was an honor and a pleasure for us to accept the invitation to actively participate in this global congress and present our daily work to the participants.

Bioveta has been operating on the Vietnamese market for many years – it supplies vaccines for dogs, cats and pigs, and has therefore gained the trust of local veterinarians. As the standard of living in Vietnam rises, the need to provide quality care for companion animals is becoming more important. Veterinary practice is developing rapidly and the growth of expertise is a way for local doctors to become true partners of breeders who turn to them with problems that were not common in the past.

That is why, we have prepared a two-year online educational cycle in cooperation with our Vietnamese importer and business partner, which was ceremonially completed in August with a practical workshop on site.

Bioveta is deeply aware that a trusting partnership is the basis of good care for dogs and cats – not only thanks to high-quality vaccines providing protection against infectious diseases, but also thanks to personal professional support and active participation. That is why we have decided to be a visible and active part of the veterinary community and develop educational initiatives wherever we operate. Where we do business, we live – as partners, colleagues and experts.

In Southeast Asia, skin problems are among the most common reasons for visits to veterinarians. The humid and hot climate is a great burden on the skin of animals, which is why the dermatology program has become very popular among Vietnamese veterinarians.

Prof. MVDr. Miroslav Svoboda, CSc., an experienced veterinary dermatologist and teacher, was a lecturer and professional guarantor of the program. After educating several generations of Czech veterinarians, it is an honour for us that in his busy schedule and at the end of his professional career, he still finds the strength and desire to participate in the education of colleagues – not only in Europe, but also in Southeast Asia and Latin America.

After a series of online lessons, professor Svoboda travelled to Vietnam, where he completed a lecture in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City and also led a practical workshop. He guided the participants not only through the theoretical foundations, but also focused on the so-called Day one skills – correct sampling, clinical examination of dermatological patients and practical diagnostics. The choice of treatment was also an important topic: because only the right diagnosis and well-chosen treatment are what return the animal to health – and make the owner happy.

Professor Svoboda's guide to Vietnam was MVDr. Robert Kuhn, Bioveta's regional director for Southeast Asia. This initiative is a concrete example of how a Czech company can share its know-how abroad and at the same time strengthen the reputation of the Czech Republic as a country that can export not only products, but also expertise and support.

Investing in education is investing in the future. And not only in Vietnam. For us, it is a commitment to build an environment where quality and professional care for animals is a matter of course together with veterinarians around the world.

In the last week of July, we together with our business partner, the Venezuelan company Seprogan, officially launched new lines of vaccines for dogs and cats in Venezuela.

The launch of sales of our products was supported by a series of professional seminars that took place in four major Venezuelan cities – Barquisimeto, Valencia, Maracay and Caracas. Each of these seminars was attended by approximately one hundred local veterinarians, which confirms the strong interest of the professional public in high-quality European products and modern approaches to the prevention of infectious diseases.

The individual events were also attended by MVDr. Alberto Velasquez, Bioveta’s regional director for Latin America, who joined all seminars via live video connection. The professional part, focused on the principles of immunological protection of animals, was always led by a local expert, an opinion leader in the field of veterinary immunology and vaccinology.

We are pleased to announce that Bioveta's vaccines for dogs and cats have also been successfully launched in the past in Mexico, Colombia and Brazil, the two largest countries in South America. The products have quickly gained the trust of veterinarians and breeders due to the quality, safety and reliable protection they provide.

The prospect for 2026 is to expand our operations to medium-sized countries such as Chile and Bolivia. Bioveta is thus becoming an established company on the South American continent.
