To Freeze or Not to Freeze?

Social Freezing as Fertility preservation has become an important part of our fertility journey for many of us.
There are so many reasons why more and more women opt for the cryopreservation of their eggs. Did you know that If only medical recommendations are to be considered, this procedure should be performed no later than 25-30 years of age? However one would argue that the ideal age for women to consider oocyte freezing is 31-35 years. Women in their late 20s still have time to find a partner or to have their oocytes frozen after the age of 30 years without a significant loss in reproductive potential.
I am sure you have heard at least one of your friend saying ‘I know I want to have children in the future but I am not ready to get pregnant yet.’ The reason shouldn't even matter, women should have the information about this modern option. Obviously, Social freezing provides a much cheaper alternative to doing so in the home country for many. COVID-19: Lockdown roadmap CZ dates - what's opening when, and what's allowed

as of 27 April – gyms and fitness facilities, libraries, outdoor expositions of zoological gardens are open

(Most likely as of 17 May) specific date TBC – shops in shopping centres, restaurants can open their gardens while serving food there, beauty services, museums, galleries, outdoor premises of castles and chateaus. All theatres, cinemas and circuses may now be opened (max 100 persons)

As of Monday 25 May, the wearing of protective masks will be mandatory only in the interiors of buildings other than the place of residence and in public transport.

As of 1st of June- registration for vaccination against Covid-19 opens to all citizens of the Czech Republic

As the EU looks to open borders to travel after a year of isolation, things start to look more positive. Hope that there will be a safe, simple and more importantly inexpensive way to travel and come back to your county is near.
A lot of couples had to travel in very unpredictable times last year in lockdown with medical travel exemption. In the near future it will only be easier and I can’t wait to announce that good news hopefully very soon ...

The new government travel measures do not apply to medical facilities.
The operation of the Prague IVF clinics is uninterrupted.

⚠️❗️The state of emergency situation will last for another 30 days till March, 28.
⠀
Stricter measures will take effect from Monday (March, 1) for three weeks:

💼 For trips to work outside Prague, a confirmation from the employer will be required.
⠀
🏥 For trips to a doctor or to municipal authorities 🏢 outside Prague, a solemn declaration will be required (with the specification of place, time and destination of the trip).
⠀
👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Visits of relatives will not be permitted unless it is a matter of providing necessary needs or care.
⠀
👩‍🎓 All educational institutions, schools and kindergartens will be also closed (with some exceptions).
⠀
🛍 Shopping will be possible only within Prague.
⠀
🚶‍♂️ Sports and walks will be possible only within Prague.
⠀
🐕 Walking dogs at night will be possible within 500 meters from the place of residence.
⠀
😷 People will have to wear at least a surgical mask in the streets within build up area (except green zones - parks / forests, where it’s possible to keep a social distance).

😷 In crowded places (for example, in public transport and in shops) it will be necessary to have a respirator (two masks will not be allowed).
