Meet the Committee! 🌟

We are proud to introduce Prof. Dimitrios Bogdanos, member of the Steering Committee.

Prof. Bogdanos is the Director of the Department of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology at the University of Thessaly Medical School. His research focuses on three main areas: the role of microbial and viral infections in triggering autoimmunity, the diagnostic and clinical significance of autoantibodies, and the immunopathogenesis of autoimmune diseases, particularly involving Th17, T, and B regulatory cells.

More recently, his team has expanded their work to explore how dietary components can act as natural immunosuppressants - opening new perspectives in autoimmune disease management.

With leading experts like Prof. Bogdanos, Autoimmunity 2026 will be an unmissable event for innovation, collaboration, and scientific discovery.
