“Acceptance” is important in many contexts — BUT holding onto old protective patterns can happen subconsciously, especially when you settle into the mindset of “I’ll just accept my pain.”

Your body learns to protect itself after injury… and if those patterns are never addressed, they can stop you from doing the things you want to do 10, 20, even 30 years down the road.

Jason’s shoulder injury happened decades ago — yet it was STILL limiting his movement. Fortunately, it’s not too late. After some deep work on the shoulder capsule, his arm went higher than it has in years.

I’ve heard this story — or some version of it — many times. It starts with confusion. Pain that comes out of nowhere. A body that doesn’t cooperate. And a cycle of short-term relief, followed by more setbacks.
