🦷 Is it safe to fly after getting a dental implant?✈️
✔ For a standard single implant, flying is generally fine 3–7 days after surgery.
✔ If you’ve had a more complex procedure — such as a bone graft or sinus lift — it’s best to wait at least 2 weeks before flying.
If you’re planning long-distance travel, make sure to have your healing progress checked by your dentist beforehand.
Also keep in mind — airplane cabins are dry and movement is limited, which can make oral hygiene a bit more difficult. Take extra care to keep your mouth clean during your trip.
✨ Enjoy your travels and come back with your smile even healthier. 🌿
If you’re unsure, a quick check-in with your dentist is always the safest bet.
