🦷 Is it safe to fly after getting a dental implant?✈️

✔ For a standard single implant, flying is generally fine 3–7 days after surgery.
✔ If you’ve had a more complex procedure — such as a bone graft or sinus lift — it’s best to wait at least 2 weeks before flying.

If you’re planning long-distance travel, make sure to have your healing progress checked by your dentist beforehand.

Also keep in mind — airplane cabins are dry and movement is limited, which can make oral hygiene a bit more difficult. Take extra care to keep your mouth clean during your trip.

Looking Back at AEEDC 2025: Osstem Implant Showcases Innovations in Surface Technology and Digital Workflow

At AEEDC 2025 this past January, Osstem Implant showcased its next-generation SOI surface and integrated digital solutions, drawing strong interest from clinicians worldwide. The SOI surface—already widely adopted in Europe—reduces osseointegration time from six to two months, representing a significant advance in clinical efficiency.

Hands-on sessions featured advanced surgical kits, including the OneGuide System and the new IM-Cure Kit for peri-implantitis treatment. Visitors were also introduced to Osstem’s complete digital workflow—from imaging to treatment planning—through detailed demonstrations led by Osstem Implant’s expert managers, supporting clinicians who were new to the digital equipment.
