Dankbar, von Ihm lernen zu dürfen 💜
Dr. Mohinder Singh Jus departed from this world, three years ago today, on 10.06.2019. With his departure came a terrible storm that seemed to last for 24 hours. There were high winds, thunder, lightning and rain. What some of you may not know is that the name Mohinder means God of the sky or God of rain. So as Dr. Mohinder Singh Jus returned to the universe he departed in a way only fit for his name.
For those who knew Dr. Mohinder Singh Jus, the sky appeared in various aspects of his work.
As a homeopath, he treated each case as an opportunity for a new dawn. Each case offered the possibility for the sun to come up over the horizon and to shine on the areas that need to be healed, to help each patient strengthen their life force and show them a way to true healing. Each case was also a learning opportunity for Dr. Mohinder Singh Jus, as every dawn brought with it the opportunity to grow.
In his philosophical teachings, Dr. Jus often talked about maintaining our center. He reminded us that we are the blue sky and that circumstances and emotions are but clouds passing by. To maintain our center, we must observe the circumstances and emotions as being external to us. He also taught us the importance of rain. He used to say, we have to cry and express ourselves freely. We must be allowed to let our heavy clouds release the rain returning them to a state of lightness again.
The glorious skies he painted on his canvas reminded us to be mindful and to admire the sky. To watch the passing clouds. To view the different phases of a sunset in detail, taking in the different shades of orange and pink. His paintings of winter skies taught us that there is beauty in every time of the year.
His spirituality taught us to look up and to trust the universe in its bigger plans for us. To stay connected to a mission bigger than ourselves. As Dr. Jus departed on that stormy day, he reminded us that even though we must all leave this place, it is what we leave behind that truly decides our absence.
We are eternally grateful for legacy that Dr. Jus leaves behind, allowing us to keep him close in our hearts and forever present.
In gratitude,
The Jus Family and SHI Haus der Homöopathie
