Als wir diese Forschungsergebnisse erstmals vorstellten, traf sie den Nerv der Zeit – und das aus gutem Grund.

Die Studie zeigte das Potenzial der CranioSacral-Therapie (CST), den Cortisolspiegel zu senken und die Haltungsstabilität bei Feuerwehranwärtern zu verbessern – entscheidende Faktoren, um diesen Helden an vorderster Front dabei zu helfen, körperlich und geistig fit zu bleiben.

It is with deep gratitude and heartfelt remembrance that we honor the life and legacy of Dianne Gardner (formerly Dianne Upledger)— Co-Founder of Upledger Institute.

In 1985, Dianne joined Dr. John Upledger, Allen Merrell, and Elizabeth Packer-Merrell (Frank) in founding the Institute, helping to bring a bold and compassionate vision of healing into the world. Her thoughtful leadership, unwavering dedication, and warm presence was instrumental in the early days shaping the Institute’s mission and the global community it continues to nurture.

Dianne’s presence left a lasting imprint on the Upledger Institute, especially through the beginning years supporting the administrative team and her thoughtful involvement in select programs, including the Certification Program. Her impact extended beyond tasks and titles — she brought warmth, grace, and genuine care to her work, touching the lives of students and colleagues alike. Dianne helped foster a sense of connection and purpose that continues to resonate throughout our community.

She will be deeply missed, yet her spirit lives on in every student, therapist, and life changed through the work she helped make possible.

Hier ein Link zu einem sehr interessanten Vortrag über die Lebensgeschichte Andrew Taylor Stills von unseren kanadischen Kollegen gepostet. Elisabeth Newman ist auf den Spuren Stills gewandelt und hat darüber auch ein Buch geschrieben.

The roots of Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy lie in Osteopathy, which its founder said is rooted in “laws of nature as old as time itself.”

An origin story orients us and provides a fulcrum of stability in our work and path when we feel uncertain, lonely, or unsure of our next steps.

Since the fall of 2023, Elizabeth has taken on a personal side project to understand the origins of osteopathy, particularly the untold story of A.T. Still’s meeting with the Shawnee tribe in the Kansas Territory in the 1850s.

Liebe Mitglieder,

hiermit möchten wir Euch noch einmal an unsere diesjährige Mitgliederversammlung am 24.11.2023 um 18 Uhr erinnern. Die Mitgliederversammlung wird primär online stattfinden, ihr seid jedoch auch herzlich eingeladen, in Präsenz an der Mitgliederversammlung in der Praxis von Verena in Kelheim (Gronsdorfer Hang 62) teilzunehmen.

Da die Mehrhändetechnik/Mutliple Hands on beim Verbandstreffen im vergangenen Jahr in Potsdam so gut ankam, haben wir uns entschieden, am Tag nach der Mitgliederversammlung (am Samstag den 25.11.2023 ab 09 Uhr) eine Wiederholung des Workshops in ähnlicher Form in den Räumen in Kelheim anzubieten. Geplant ist ein voller Tag, die Kosten für Mitglieder betragen Euro 25,- inkl. Snacks und Getränken (Mitttagessen kann für circa 12,- bis 13,- Euro dazu bestellt werden). Nichtmitglieder sind ebenfalls herzlich eingeladen, hier beträgt die Gebühr Euro 35,-.
