A simple forward fold can feel so good for your body, but to get the most out of it, proper form is key. Ensure that your arms are hugging your ears and your chin is lifted to elongate your spine. Keep a slight bend in your knees to avoid straining your lower back.
In the incorrect form, the arms are bent and the knees are too bent, which limits the stretch and doesn’t allow the body to fully release. Focus on lengthening your spine before you deepen into the fold.
