Join the Cobra family in celebrating the holiday season with festive cheer and Christmas spirit! ✨

This year's party was celebrated with a meal together, followed by an after-party of fun activities such as a glühwein pong game, white-elephant give exchange, and unwrapping with mitten game. 🎅🎶

We are grateful to everyone who contributed to making this event happen. To everyone attending and those bringing their family members with them, it felt magical to see everyone there getting to know each other and having fun together. 🎄💖

We sincerely wish everyone a warm and happy Merry Christmas!
Wherever you are, may your days be joyous and filled with endless blessings! 🎁🌟

Also, a very special Thank You to USO Baumholder for letting us borrow the space and to 421st Medical Battalion-Multifunctional LTC Sosebee & CSM DeCola for stopping by! 💫

As we approach the end of 2024, I would like to reflect on some remarkable experiences of the success of our most recent COSC function mission.

Our Restoration and Reconditioning Center (RRC) in Grafenwoehr welcomed these dedicatedly exceptional 9 SMs to participate in 5-day resilience training led by two behavioral health techs and a provider. Despite freezing weather, a hectic schedule, and the holiday season, these participants brought their A-game to the week-long course.

We are incredibly grateful for their participation, as witnessing their growth and transformation brought a deep sense of fulfillment to our COSC team. This program underscores the strength of our forward medical unit, which focuses on prevention and equips individuals with the tools to thrive.

Programs that are developed by 254 COSC such as RRC and HRT (Holistic Resilience Training) are building a stronger team and a more resilient member of the US Army. Therefore, the experiences from this mission reminded us, that as we enter the new year, let’s embrace resilience, optimism, and adaptability, finding strength within ourselves to rise stronger.

Starting off the holiday season right! ✨

Our COSCgiving includes a highly competitive dodgeball competition and a potluck dinner for the whole team and family members.

We are always thankful for every single member of this team who makes the unit and their family members who always support us, whether for the success of the missions or even during the daily work day.

The Cobras Family wishes everyone a very Happy Thanksgiving Day! May your day be filled with great fun and a table full of wholesome meals as we did. 🥧🦃🍂

Operation surprise support for SFC Danso's induction ceremony is a success! 🔥

Being selected to be a member of the Sergeant Morales Club is just one testament to your dedication to the development and welfare of the soldiers.
SGT Amaro said in her speech that your dedication and commitment as a leader are exceptional and we could not be prouder to have you lead our unit!

We could not be happier to come celebrate this day with you (even tho it's on a day off). A truly well-deserved achievement! 🎖️

Despite rainy days and delayed Conex arrival (and pick-up time), the COSC team has yet again wrapped up another successful field training exercise!

Although the location looks familiar, new changes are implemented during this training exercise. Being no ordinary medical unit, our platoon leaders crafted a simulation of the daily clinical operation of the Triage and Patient Holding area in a deployed environment.

Unlike our previous convoy experience, this one holds a record for being the smoothest journey so far! Our team of Range Safety Officers, NCOs, and Junior Enlisted also did an amazing job at running an M4 zeroing and qual range for the day.

A lot of smiles were seen and compliments were received throughout the whole five-day iterations as our team gracefully faced unexpected challenges that came our way. Even though getting the most wholesome mermites meal for breakfast and dinner might have something to do with it as well?

One last hurrah before a week out in the field with a (C)O(S)Ctoberfest celebration! 🍻🥨🌭

We had such a fun gathering with the Cobra families, complete with a game of Stein Pong (caution: highly addictive), a Stein-holding competition (which was won by CSM DeCola), and other kid-friendly activities. Thank you to everyone who showed up and participated in the events!

Check out our licensed providers practicing the art of Battlefield Acupuncture! 👂🏻👂🏼👂🏽👂🏾👂🏿✨

This treatment stems from Eastern medicine that was practiced five millennia ago! It is completely safe (and the gold-plated one is also within the Army regulation to flaunt ✨) and effective for various pain conditions.

Battlefield Acupuncture uses very small (about 1mm) semi-permanent needles inserted into the skin of the outer surface of the ear at five distinct points. The theory behind ear/auricular acupuncture is that the entire body and its functions are represented by various points on the ear.
