this 60-minute somatic class combines intentional breathwork with targeted spinal ELDOA postures to support nervous system regulation, improve postural integrity, and enhance vagal tone.
Class begins with breath-led body awareness practices that guide participants into present-time sensation through slow, nasal breathing and interoceptive cueing. Techniques such as extended exhales, gentle breath holds, and rhythmic box breathing help stimulate the vagus nerve and strengthen the body’s ability to return to a calm, regulated state.
Once the nervous system is grounded, students are guided through a focused ELDOA sequence—spinal postures designed to create space in key joint segments, decompress fascia, and improve proprioceptive awareness. These postures indirectly support vagal function by releasing mechanical tension around the diaphragm and cervical spine, where the vagus nerve travels.
The class concludes with restorative breath integration to anchor the effects of the practice and leave students with a sense of inner spaciousness and somatic clarity.
