This ZPP-certified ‘Hatha Yoga Onlineseminar mit Krishna’ Präventionskurs ID: KU-ST-V5VPU5 is for those who would like to progress with their pranayama and breathwork alongside their physical health and well-being. It is ideal for those who want to integrate the practice into their daily life from anywhere in the world only with an internet connection.

Hatha Yoga infuses mostly physical postures for proper breathing techniques called Prāṇāyāma. Most of us think Prāṇāyāma is about breathing exercises. But it isn’t. Breathing exercises prepare you for Prāṇāyāma by enhancing the flow of Prāṇā, the vital life force. Prāṇāyāma begins where the breath ends. It is done with full awareness to harness the unlimited potential of the mind to become a balanced and creative individual.

What will you learn from the course?

1) The first part focuses on preparing the foundation with various techniques for warming up movement and the mechanics of breath, including the Hathenas exercises, which are breathing techniques for expanding lung capacity.

2) The second part takes you step by step to Prāṇāyāma practices such as the rhythmic breaths, the purifying breaths, the warming breaths, the cooling breaths, the calming breaths, the breath for everyday life, relaxation and meditation.

The Video On-Demand recording is available for 7 days. Every session will include a Q&A to clarify the practices.

Prakritilayanam - merging with the Nature

Prakritilayanam (Prakṛti-laya) refers to yogis or beings who have merged or dissolved into the subtle elements of nature (Prakṛti) – earth, water, fire, air, ether, mind, intellect, ego – experiencing profound peace and deep meditative states (Samadhi) but not achieving true liberation (Kaivalya) because they remain within the material realm, awaiting rebirth through latent karmic impressions.

Key Aspects of Prakritilayanam:

Merging with Nature: Awareness merges with the fundamental constituents of the universe (earth, water, etc.).

Deep Trance States: They enter a deep, passive Samadhi, often called Jada-Samadhi, which feels like liberation but isn’t permanent freedom.

Not True Liberation: They are still bound by Prakṛti (nature) and are subject to rebirth when their latent impressions arise, unlike true liberation which transcends nature.

Connection to Yoga Sutra 1.19: It describes Videhas (bodiless) and Prakṛti-layas as two types of advanced aspirants who experience Asamprajnata Samadhi (unconscious Samadhi) by birth due to past efforts, but this is distinct from Kaivalya (absolute freedom).

The deep absorption of momentarily liberation is of four kinds, 1) gross (vitarka), 2) subtle (vichara), 3) bliss accompanied (ananda), and 4) with I-ness (asmita), and is called samprajnata samadhi.

vitarka = gross thought or reasoning
vichara = subtle thought
ananda = bliss, ecstasy
asmita = I-ness, individuality
samprajnatah = cognitive absorption, lower samadhi

Rejuvenation Yoga, Sunrise Gazing, Hiking, Beach & Nature Exploration Retreat in Amorgos Island, Greece.

Beginning of this October, join .yoga.berlin for a week-long (7 days) yoga retreat at Ilias Pension at a hilltop of Chora - Amorgos Island, Greece.

This retreat invites you to dive deeper into your sunrise yoga practice at the stony beach & jump into the fresh temperature ocean and have a quite & rejuvenating time.

In the afternoon there is space for hiking and beach trips to fully enjoy Amorgos nature and scenery.

In the evening during sunset, there will be evening practice, chanting and meditation after watching the sunset which integrates the mind & soul to the body ultimately.
