Nina Kim is a Reiki Master Teacher, 500+ hour Certified Massage Therapist, Mindfulness Teacher and Founder of Psychedelic Reiki Massage & the Visionary School of Reiki who began her healing journey in 2011 after a near-death bicycle accident brought her to search deep within. Communing with the expanse of stillness and the depth of touch and intention, Reiki helped her overcome PTSD and inspired h

Reiki is a simple yet profound mode of energy healing that promotes deep relaxation, awareness and restoration of balance in the body, mind and spirit, especially when there are energetic blockages or your ki (energy) is low. I incorporate Reiki healing energy in all of my massages, which I call Psychedelic Reiki Massage.

It is my own unique, self-created modality that has been inspired by all of my training, intuitive guidance and healing, psychedelic & life experiences. It is a massage infused with Reiki, which can bring you to an altered state of consciousness, and this exploration can manifest in:

° An elevated or transcendent state
° A visually enhanced and/or extrasensorial experience and/or

Happy 5th Birthday to the !! 🥳🎊🎈🎂🙌💓🌀🎉🎁 On 25th & 26th July 2020, I taught my 1st-ever Visionary Reiki 1 Course to friends, strangers & my 1st-ever Visionary Reiki student, .energyhealing 💓

Dunja 1st approached me after receiving her 1st Reiki session ever from me in January 2019 & asked me if I taught Reiki. At the time, I was still building up & told her that there were other Reiki teachers in Berlin. She then said, ‘No, I want to learn from you.’ 🥹

So when I knew I was ready to teach Visionary Reiki in May 2020, Dunja was of course the 1st person I reached out to & we chose a date that she for sure could be there ✨

Since 2013, I’d been teaching mindfulness meditation & building mindfulness communities in the workspace, which brought me to teaching in amazing cities like SF, NYC, Tokyo & Tel Aviv. Also since 2013, I’d been teaching Intro to Reiki workshops at inspiring festivals, retreats & conferences, like & .conference 😍

But building a unique Course based in the traditional Usui Reiki Ryoho & synergized with helpful tools I’ve learned along the way while practicing Reiki since 2011, such as energetic & flow principles, magical modalities & techniques, a visionary & psychedelic perspective & more, was really taking it to the next level for me 💫

I’m very happy & grateful that the core principles & emphasis of safer space, integrity, authenticity, expansiveness, creativity, compassion, empathy, non-judgment & Wu-Wei of have brought me in contact with truly the most heartfelt, inspiring & incredible humans as my students 😌💓 & that the has continued to resonate far & wide 🙌

Cultivating a safer space is one of the main cornerstones of & also the teaching & practice of Visionary Reiki 💓 At the beginning of each Course, I ask that each participant helps to co-create such a space ✨ I love that 1 of the participants of this group asked me to describe exactly what that means, which really helped to set the tone for this special weekend 🥰

What is safer space to me? A compassionate, empathetic & non-judgmental space where we allow whatever to arise to arise, rooted in integrity & an intentional (set &) setting infused with rituals for protection & grounding (5 of the Visionary Reiki principles! 🤓🙌🥹) so that people can feel at ease, comfortable, held & safe in their process, however that may unfold 💓

I always invite each of my clients into this safer space before a session & my experience in psychedelic harm reduction, my own self-work & healing journey, and also my 14 years in practicing Reiki & 25 years in learning & understanding psychedelic (non-ordinary) states have largely helped to cultivate my awareness & understanding of safer space ✨

Two weekends ago, I had the great joy & honor of attuning the latest Reiki 2 Practitioners — very many congratulations to the May 2025 cohort! 🎊🎈🎉🥳🙌💓✨🌀

We explored the magical world of Reiki 2 symbols, training our sensory organs & spidey senses to perceive & transmit infinitely thru the ethers 🕸️✨, we held interesting discussions about astrology & the wild ride 2025 has been so far 😜💫, we ventured deep into the world of boundaries, exploring partner exercises & our thresholds, while sharing some insightful conversations about how we navigate boundaries in our lives (a topic that is so near & dear to me & a big focus of Visionary Reiki 2 💓) & so much more 😌

I always say I love teaching Visionary Reiki 1, but I loooove teaching Visionary Reiki 2 💫 It just takes the level of understanding of the world of energy & Reiki to a whole new and even more comprehensive & magical level, especially with the Reiki symbols 🥰 (and of course I also looove love love teaching Visionary Reiki 3 Master Practioner Degree ☺️💓🤓)

A few weeks ago, I delved deeper into the world of sound (one of my favorite worlds ✨) by participating in an Initiation into Gong Playing Workshop with that spanned over two weekends 💓

The two wonderful weekends shared with three other lovely participants in an absolutely beautiful space I experienced for the 1st time, the Therapeium 😻, all with the excellent guidance & teaching from Frida are memories I’ll treasure for lifetimes ✨

Was so joyous too to enjoy on the breaks all the gorgeous flowers blooming & also the sweet kitties who’d come around 🐈💓

Very grateful to have had these two weekends to do something nice for myself 🥰 and also hoping to get a gong one day to be able to bring forth even more healing frequencies out into the world ✨

A month ago, I completed my 7th Annual 3 Sessions of Kambô Spring Cleaning Ritual for my 2nd year with 😜🐸✨🌀💓🤮🪣🤩😍🥰

After a great experience w/ Joel in 2024, he again held a very loving, attentive & safer space comfortably in my own home 🏡 We had 3 sessions every other day… always my preference so that I can focus & delve deep (& also to keep the diet for less time 😅)
⠀
Usually for 2-3 weeks before/during/after, I eat a gluten/caffeine-free, vegan & non-processed-foods diet w/ very little sugar & of course no alcohol/mind-altering substances (I don’t really drink anyway) 🥦 But this year with so much going on w/ my B1 Deutsch Prüfung & presenting my work at a private retreat, I kept the diet for just 1 week during, which felt resonant ✨ As always, Wu-Wei 😉🌊🏄‍♀️

I received 5, 6 then 7 dots, the perfect amount each time 🐸✨ This Kambô was a creeper tho in that only after the come-up & -down 🎢, did it sucker punch you (w/ love 🥰) w/ so much intensity then a great purge 🤮 A bit confusing at 1st, but I got the hang of it & thankfully, Hapé (powdered to***co that’s blasted up your nostrils 😜) always evens me out 🙏

Kambô is an Amazonian frog secretion medicine (not poison ☝️) that’s applied to your skin after burning dots & has all sorts of health benefits, like flushing out & resetting your immune system 💪 It’s non-psychoactive, helps strengthen my immunity/vitality & reminds me that everything is fleeting, from the most intense discomfort & pain to the most ecstatic euphoria & feeling of connectedness ✨

My intention is always to connect deeper to my heart’s deepest truth & intention & also purge what no longer serves me, which I updated last year to purge outdated belief systems, programmings & habits/behaviors that don’t align w/ the evolution of my being 🦋 2025 being a pretty tumultuous year already, I added the intention also to connect deeper to joy & peace 💓🕊️

Very grateful to have shared a truly wonderful weekend with this loveliest group back in April for a Reiki 1 Course 🙌 Many congratulations to the latest Visionary Reiki 1 Practitioners! 🥳🎊🎈🎉

We had really insightful discussions about honoring our boundaries & capacities, while only pouring from a full cup 💧 how intuition isn’t necessarily this ‘black box’ but rather feedback from our subconscious ✨ & also explored deeply the different quality of boundaries & thresholds in the auric fields all around us 🪄

I super admired & appreciated the immense level of authenticity, presence, curiosity, openness, kindness & playfulness that each participant showed up with 💓 Thank you all so much!!

I was also very happy that the resounding sentiments in the closing circle were that the participants ‘felt very comfortable and safe in this space.’ One participant shared, ‘This course really helped me to feel grounded. Sometimes I feel depleted after so much time with people, but I feel energized. I feel so connected to all of you too.’ 🙏

At the beginning of the month, I was invited to offer sessions & an Intro to Course at an intimate private wellness retreat at 🏰🙌✨💓🌀🥰

Nestled in beautiful nature, we got really lucky with the lovely weather the entire weekend ☀️ I was so happy to be able to review my notes with an amazing view from my room 📝 & also to be able to have a post-weekend decompression under a magnificent willow tree next to the water (1 of my fav sounds in the world is of willow trees blowing in the wind 💆‍♀️🌬️🌿 would bring me a lot of peace as a child 💓).

1 of my favorite things someone said in the closing circle was that they ‘felt a lot of humanity in this group, which they don’t take for granted’ 💗 and another shared that they ‘loved being in the group energy of the practice, everyone moving slowly and with presence — was such a beautiful energy to be in.’ 💞

This was a very special group, as two practitioners shared the same Visionary Reiki 2 Course & the third was part of my 2nd ever VR2 Course back in 2021 😮 I always emphasize to my students how the Reiki adventure is not just some checklist of ‘things to do’ ✅ but rather an exploration where one moves on only when they feel ready ✨

Some of my favorite sharings in the closing circle were that ‘This whole Reiki journey has been incredibly profound, especially this weekend. The other participants were such great teachers too. Such a pleasure to be in this group, was really looking forward to coming back today.’ 🙏💓

By the time we’re at Visionary Reiki 3, it truly does feel more like a discussion amongst colleagues rather than a teacher/student dynamic (I always say at the beginning of each Course anyway that I feel most like the student & all the students are my teachers 🤓).
