Nina Kim is a Reiki Master Teacher, 500+ hour Certified Massage Therapist, Mindfulness Teacher and Founder of Psychedelic Reiki Massage & the Visionary School of Reiki who began her healing journey in 2011 after a near-death bicycle accident brought her to search deep within. Communing with the expanse of stillness and the depth of touch and intention, Reiki helped her overcome PTSD and inspired her to spread the wisdom that the power to heal is literally in our hands.

Trained in the San Francisco Bay Area, she uses Swedish (slow, long strokes), deep-tissue, acupressure and trigger point therapy massage modalities integrated with intuitive wisdom, chakra balancing & Reiki to help facilitate healing on a holistic level.

Reiki is a simple yet profound mode of energy healing that promotes deep relaxation, awareness and restoration of balance in the body, mind and spirit, especially when there are energetic blockages or your ki (energy) is low. I incorporate Reiki healing energy in all of my massages, which I call Psychedelic Reiki Massage.

It is my own unique, self-created modality that has been inspired by all of my training, intuitive guidance and healing, psychedelic & life experiences. It is a massage infused with Reiki, which can bring you to an altered state of consciousness, and this exploration can manifest in:

° An elevated or transcendent state
° A visually enhanced and/or extrasensorial experience and/or
° A psychotherapeutic experience

It is in these altered realms, I believe there is the highest potential for the deepest and most complete healing. Happy Lunar New Year for the year of the Fire Horse (on a solar eclipse, no less!)🧧🔥🐴🎉🌚💥

I’m slowly landing back from my Winter Pause & am grateful I got to experience Taiwan, Vietnam & Laos with 1 of my very besties & fav travel buddy 💓 (25 countries traveled together & counting! 🔥🏹💫). Was especially cool to witness Taipei & Hanoi come alive with new year preparations 😻 (📸 from some of my impressions).

I’ve SO been anticipating the shift in energy from the year of the wooden snake 🪵🐍 All the shedding being very necessary, but 2025 definitely being my tenderest year ever after 2012, the year after my bicycle accident 😅

2025 was also filled with many glimmers tho ✨ I finally got my EU permanent residency (ya gurl’s here to stay 🥹), I got to show my partner California for his 1st time with an epic road trip & also my community .collective.la’s 32nd anniversary campout (🥰🌝🤯) & some of my dearest & oldest friends visited me in Berlin (some for their 1st time), including my sista from another mista who’s known me since birth 💓

I’m looking forward to galloping forward with the momentum of a fire horse with all the space created from all the shedding ✨ Remembering also the nature of horse energy… ‘Biêu tương của chí tiến thủ & bền bỉ’ or ‘A symbol of ambition and perseverance (4th pic).

With outdated structures crumbling & the world seeming stranger by the minute with all the corruption, rise of fascism, AI slop, climate change, etc., it’s important now more than ever to mobilize in our communities, have hope & visions for our future, be gentle with ourselves & one another, and persevere ✊

It was such a wonderful way to culminate the 2025 teaching year with this super heart-felt & magical group 🪄 Congratulations to the December 2025 Visionary Reiki 2 Practitioners! 🥳🎊🎈🎉🙌💓🌀✨

I love how the mystical Reiki web weaves us all together 🕸️✨ I’ve known 1 of the dear participants for ~7 years by now (😮 ) & the other 2 lovely participants came thru 2 previous students who are also so dear to me 💓

Each of our team of spirit guides were very present with us throughout the weekend, speaking to us thru the ethers & cards & we shared many insightful discussions around channeling & mediumship 🌀 How we’re all wired differently in our unique way & have our own special ways to channel 🙌

How the shower or even the gym can be very resonant portals to connect, even to the spirit of Michael Jackson 😆🎤 We also acknowledged our many parts 🙂 How many aspects of ourselves is stuff we’re carrying from our lineage (& not actually ours) that we can heal thru ancestral healing ✨ How we need to honor all parts of ourselves (shoutout to Internal Family Systems - IFS), including our cute little demons 😈

We shared a lot of laughs & anecdotes, especially in this intimate group 💓 & it being St. Niklas’ day on the weekend, I of course left some treats in their shoes 🍪👟 (such a sweet tradition for me I only learned by moving to Berlin 🥰)

We shared many insightful discussions on how we connect to our intuition & flow state 🌊 how gratitude can help us connect to joy, but joy can be more accessible than we think 🤗 and how to Wu-Wei effectively — the balance of yin/yang, shiva/shakti, holding an intention or a vision but surrendering also to the flow 🎋

It was a magical weekend full of ‘wonder’ — I love that this word was offered in the closing circle, as I feel it summarized our experience very well 💜 We especially had a lot of fun, exploration & discovery during our aura sensing exercise, where there were many colors, sensations, animals! & flowers witnessed in the ethers and many laughs shared ✨ I’m very grateful for the beautiful safer space we all co-created 💓

I’ve fallen a bit behind on these due to some very unexpected twists & turns of Nov/Dec 😅, but so many congratulations to the November 2025 Reiki 3 Master Practitioners! 🥳🙌💓🌀✨

This was such a special Course to me, not only because there was a super empathetic & knowledgable Medical Doctor taking part (I’m always very humbled when this happens 😧), but also because two wonderful students from my 2nd Visionary Reiki 1 Course I ever taught (August 2020) took this Reiki 3 Course together 💓 They met each other in my Course & stayed friends over the years, sharing Reiki 🥹

With the two participants also being recent graduates of psychology, I was really moved to hear 1 participant describing Reiki as ‘being able to access places therapy can’t’ ✨ All participants truly embodied such a beautiful integration of Visionary Reiki & Psychedelic Principles, and I’m so excited to witness them bringing Reiki further into the fields of medicine & psychology 🙌

We shared some heartfelt discussions about practicing with integrity & also confidence, being true to yourself, how one wishes to be perceived/not perceived & of course that… ‘Haters gon’ hate’ (so just do your thang 😉). We also practiced Group Reiki both days with 3 sets of hands on 1 body (what we coined ‘Espresso Reiki’ ☕️😆), and I was very grateful & humbled to receive on the 2nd day 💓

It was beautiful to culminate the 2025 Visionary Reiki 3 Courses with bringing 3 more Visionary Reiki Master Practitioners out into the world & I’m very much looking forward to inspiring continued mastery in 2026! 🧙‍♀️

Sometimes when I teach Courses in December, they fall on St. Nicholas Day 🥰✨🥾🍫💓

It’s a tradition we don’t have in the US, so coming to know it after moving to Berlin ~10 years ago has been very sweet 🍭 (in the US, we leave stockings out over Christmas Eve to be filled, but nothing on the 6th of December).

1 of my neighbors always leaves 2 tiny chocolate Santas in our mailboxes (shout out to whoever that is! 🤗) & when I was on a 9-day silent meditation retreat around this time last year in the Netherlands, the organizer also put sweets in our shoes 🥰 Such a wonderful tradition that lifts the spirits, especially in the winter months 🤗

So of course when my VR2 Course this past weekend landed on Saint Nicholas Day, I had to prepare some treats for my students’ shoes 🥰 It was so heart-warming to receive their feedback on Sunday & 1 student said it even brought her back to her childhood 👧🏻

I love these little moments, however small, I can find to brighten someone’s day and/or celebrate Existence in General™️. It can be a really nice practice to pay it forward whenever you feel inspired & most importantly, whenever you have the capacity ✨ (as we always say in the Courses, you can only pour from a full cup). It’s a lovely vibe to pass on & have circulate 💓

Super grateful to have been able to host another cozy & insightful Visionary Reiki Share for Practitioners last night at our beloved 🐣💓✨

It is so life-affirming & calming for my nervous system to be in a room full of like-minded & like-hearted souls who’ve chosen this particular Visionary path of Reiki, a (very non-linear 🌀) path emphasizing safer space, authenticity, integrity & an expansive/creative approach to channeling this beautiful life force energy 🙌

I’m so thankful & humbled to have grown this vibrant Community the past ~5.5 years with 200+ students to date (as always with me: quality over quantity & amazing things take time 🌱✨) 🥰 My deepest bow & gratitude to all of my students (/teachers 😉🙏) for your trust, love, support, authenticity, curiosity, resonance & openness 🙇‍♀️ So much love for you all 💜

Every time I host a Share or teach a Course, I’m so glad to have made the very intentional decision to have every student start with Visionary Reiki 1, even if one has already been attuned to any degree of Reiki, and also ask each prospective student to share a bit about themselves to be sure there is a resonance ✨ This helps to ensure an *actual* safer space & so that we can all be on the same page 💓

A student once shared in a Visionary Reiki 3 Course that due to this actual safer space, it always felt like home whenever Visionary Reiki Practitioners gathered, whether he knew them or not 💜🏡 It was so beautiful & fulfilling to witness this homey dynamic unfolding last night too & also be able to participate & receive Reiki from 3 sets of hands 🥰🤩🙌

I always bring ‘conversation starter with your neighbor’ question cards (always a bit different each time & warmly received) & wanted to share them here (2nd slide). Can be a reflective exercise for you & a partner/friend or even just with yourself (was an insightful & fun exercise for me & my partner 🤓).

Back in October, I had the great joy & honor to teach Reiki 1 to this sweet group of beautiful & sensitive souls 💓 Congratulations to the October 2025 Visionary Reiki 1 Practitioners! 🎊🎉🎈🙌🌀💓✨🥰

We reminisced about roadtripping through California 😻 shared tips & tricks about navigating life as a Highly Sensitive Person ✨ discussed the importance of choosing trustful & knowledgable practitioners who practice with integrity, especially in the realm of plant medicine 🌱 & even got to have what-we-called a ‘Talk Show Reiki Attunement,’ an attunement ritual with us all on the comfy ‘Talk Show’ chairs we have at our studio 🐣🥰

I knew it was going to be a special group when the 1st participant who signed up for the Course (already back in May) learned about my work through a Reiki Master they met while traveling in Macedonia (shout out to whomever that is 🫶). The magic continued when this same student met someone who was Reiki-Massaged by me at Rummels Bucht ⚓️ during my pre-COVID Party Massage Days the day before their session with me 💫 I love how the infinite web of Reiki continues to sow the seeds of magic & synchroncity together 🕸️✨

This was a special group, as 3 out of 4 students (1 not pictured) were in the same Visionary Reiki 1 Course & had no idea they’d share the Reiki Course-room space again 😊 It always feels like a familiar vibe, since I always ask each student to start with VR1 to help set the tone of safer space, integrity & authenticity, but this group dropped in even more effortlessly ✨
