Today is Earth Day and I want to share with you a glimpse from last week’s first experimental session at SOMA — weaving movement, art expression, nature, and the presence of animals.
One of my intentions with SOMA is to remind us that we are always in relationship with the land we’re stepping on — with those who came before us, with the animals, and with the surrounding nature.
When this is felt not only as an idea but as a lived experience in the body, something begins to soften. We remember a more instinctive way of being — less shaped by effort, more guided by presence.
For me, this is one of the pathways back to ourselves — to a kind of innocence that isn’t naive, but deeply rooted. A return to our true nature, where connection is not something we create, but something we recognise again.
Next week we begin Inner Landscape in Motion — a more held and continuous space, integrating IFS (Internal Family Systems) with somatic and movement practice. A space to explore these inner worlds through the body, over time.
You’re very welcome to join us if you’re around — for the full journey or simply to come and get a taste.
