In diesem Workshop lädt dich die Feldenkrais-Methode dazu ein, Bewegung neu zu erforschen – achtsam, mühelos und in deinem eigenen Tempo.

Durch sanfte, bewusste Bewegungen kannst du Spannungen lösen, neue Möglichkeiten entdecken und deinen Körper auf eine tiefere Weise wahrnehmen.

Regular breathwork can support us in dealing with stress more calmly, drawing new energy, and finding balance in everyday life.

This Easter, we take time to bring the unconscious into conscious awareness and approach our breath with mindfulness.

We will work with the resonance frequency - approximately 5-7 breaths per minute. In this calm, even rhythm, the heart, circulatory system, and breathing can harmonize. This creates a feeling of deep peace, centering, and inner spaciousness - like a gentle reset for the nervous system.

We are excited to announce that we will offer two new evening classes in our schedule:

1. Tuesday 6:15pm (we begin together)

This class is a Half-Led Primary, transitioning into the beginning of Second Series.

Open to practitioners who:
• maintain a regular practice
• know the sequence up to Navasana

2. Wednesday 5:15pm (we begin together)

Breathing is part of the autonomic nervous system. It happens without us having to think about it, just like swallowing or digestion. Autonomous/unconscious. In the first part of the session, we will become aware of the unconscious.
We will explore the „resonance frequency“ (5-7 breaths per minute). The effect is a deep sense of balance, comparable to a reset button for the autonomic nervous system. The cardiovascular system is also strengthened. With regular practice, we can cope better with stress.
In the second part of the session, we will sit for 20 minutes. Guided meditation. No prior knowledge is required to participate.

This new year marks a special transition for us. We are delighted to announce that we – Astrid & Cathrin – will be the new owners of Ashtanga Studio Berlin from January 1st, 2026.

But before we look ahead, we would like to sincerely thank Andrea: Through her vision, she has transformed this studio into a place where many of you have found strength, peace, and community for the past 20 years. We are grateful for her trust and for allowing us to continue on this path.

We are incredibly excited about this new adventure, because the studio is a special place for us. A space where we have practiced and also taught for a long time. A space for breath, connection, and awareness. A space where everyone can come to rest, breathe deeply, and connect with themselves.

We will carry on the tradition, the way we learned Yoga from our teachers. Together with you we will strive to bring a breath of fresh air into the studio.

I founded Ashtanga Studio Berlin in 2005 and I was leading it with passion and love until today. Now the time has come for a big change. The studio will continue under the guidance of Cathrin Queins und Astrid Brix.

20 years couldn’t be possible without support and help. Thank you Cathrin, Astrid, Viola, Marie, Julia, Johanna, Heiko, Gigi, Katy, Dragos, Erika, Sandra, Anina, Nadine for all these years of teaching and assistance. Thank you all the students who came and made it possible with their presence and commitment. Thank you Manju P. Jois and Nancy Gilgoff for 2 decades of teaching and supporting. Thank you Vijay Kumar, Tim Miller and David Swenson for your workshops.

I was lucky of having the school through all these years without having to compromise the teaching. Thank you ❤️

Now I will start my new life chapter in Crete , where I will continue to teach retreats, workshops and trainings.

I am very happy that the studio can continue and I know it will be in good hands. I still will come to Berlin sometime to teach the Mysore program.
