We don’t use our body to get into a pose.
We use the pose to get into our body.”
- Bernie Clark

Most of us come to the mat thinking about the pose.
Are we doing it right. Are we deep enough.

But the pose was never the point.

The pose is a doorway.
Something to walk through, not something to achieve.

When we stop trying to perfect the shape, something shifts.
We stop performing and start listening.

The practice was always inward.
The mat is just where we remember that.

What changes for you when you stop focusing on how a pose looks?

There is no pose in yoga that everybody can do. And no one can do every pose.
This is not a limitation. It’s simply the reality of having a body.

Your body has its own structure, history, and range. Some things will change over time. Some won’t.
And that’s not a problem to fix.

The practice is not about reaching every shape. It’s about learning how to be with your body as it is.
We see this every day in class - and you are never alone in it.

What’s one pose that never felt right in your body?

Meet our Teacher - Sally

“I am a dancer from US, living in Berlin for 10 years. Since I was young, I studied ballet, and have always had movement as the center of my life.

I love teaching because it brings me joy to help people find their strength, to alleviate pain, and move through their lives with more awareness and confidence. Through breath, focus, and precise movement, pilates brings stability and strength that translates into life beyond the studio. Personally, I have been practicing Pilates for 20 years, and it has contributed to my ability to keep dancing and moving.

Fun facts: I work in animal rescue and foster dogs, so far finding homes for 6 dogs from around the world.

When I first moved to Germany, taking yoga and Pilates classes were a huge help in learning the language through the repetition of words on themes I already knew. “

You can find Sally every Sunday at 09:00 & 10:30 at our Pberg studio, join her!

No one really talks about how moving to a new city means starting from zero - even when you’re surrounded by millions of people.

It takes time to find your rhythm, your people, your place.
Somewhere you don’t have to explain yourself. Somewhere you can just be.

For many, that’s what they find here, at Yoga Hub.
A small moment of belonging in a big city.

Where are you joining us from?

31/03/2026

You don’t need an hour to practice yoga.
If life feels full, start with 5 minutes.

Five minutes is enough.

Not instead of more.

Just when that’s what you have.

A few breaths. A gentle stretch. A quiet moment on your mat.
Done regularly, it supports you more than one long session once a week.
Show up small. Show up often.

Try this simple flow:
Easy Pose, Cat-Cow, Sphinx, Child’s Pose, Down Dog, Forward Fold, Mountain, Warrior II, Tree, Savasana.

What does your practice look like this week?

Spring arrived in Berlin.
You might have missed it.

Not because it isn’t there. It’s there. The trees on your street are flowering right now. The light is doing something different in the afternoon. There are small things happening everywhere, quietly, that no one is stopping to see.

You don’t have to go anywhere special.

Just put your phone down. Step outside. Give yourself 10, maybe 15 minutes. Walk slowly. Look up. Notice what’s blooming. Notice the light. Let the noise of the city just be noise, not a problem to solve.

Berlin is loud. It smells like cars and construction and coffee. It’s busy in that particular way that makes you feel like you should always be moving too.

That’s exactly why this matters.

Walking mindfully through all of that is its own practice. You don’t need a mat. You don’t need quiet. You just need to decide to actually be in your life for a few minutes.

This is the practice too.

💛 Save this for the next time you need a reason to step outside.

At the end of the day, we often fall asleep still holding it:
the worries, the conversations, the things we said or didn’t say.

That’s often why we wake up feeling tired rather than rested.

Just before sleep, the brain shifts into the hypnagogic state -
a more receptive threshold where thoughts and emotions settle more deeply into the nervous system.

What we bring into that moment doesn’t just pass through. It stays.

So what if tonight, you chose something different?

Give thanks for the day, even the hard parts.
Release what you’re still carrying.
Open yourself to what wants to arrive.

A softer ending creates a different beginning.

What are you taking with you into sleep tonight?

20/03/2026

Winter is fading.
New energy is rising.

Just like the trees,
we don’t decide to bloom.
We simply become ready.

On the mat, we don’t rush the process.
We breathe. We open. We wait.

Take your time.
Your bloom has its own rhythm. 🌷

Meet our Teacher - Bhawana 🌿

“I grew up in rural India & was trained as a software engineer. During my time in my corporate job, I realised I was really depressed & was struggling with deep traumas left from my childhood. This is where my own healing & transformation journey started.

I devoted every time, resource and energy I had after my 9-5 to learn about healing ourselves at subconscious, somatic and spiritual level. After a few years of learning & practicing, I found access to my joy & felt deeply alive. That led to having a deep desire to help as many as I can.”

Why do you love teaching?

“I love teaching because all of these practices are exactly what I need for me to keep evolving as a soul. And I love love love all the feedback & love I receive from my students and looking in their eyes after they feel a deeper connection with their inner light & with nature.”

Bhawana is a SomaSoul coach, Yin Yoga, Meditation, TCM & Chakra Breathwork teacher.

Her work is based on:

Healing the nervous system from the wounds the past has left on our mind, body & soul 🧠💫

Activating the flow of Qi & Prana in the body 🌬️

Reconnecting with the power of deeper intelligence & unconditional love that flows within us 💖
