Meet our teacher - Giuliana 🧘‍♀️

“My name is Giuliana, I am Brazilian, although many think that I’m italian. I am a dancer by formation, a choreographer, a dance teacher, and I became a pilates instructor because I started practicing it due to a long time injury I had, and I fell in love with Pilates. It really healed me and made me a more conscious mover. I believe in it as a lifetime practice for everyone, no matter if a person lifts 100 kg on their shoulders or if they are struggling to practice any physical activity. “

Why do you love teaching?
“I love teaching because I feel that this connects me to people from all backgrounds, and it helps them create a better lifestyle. I love instructing and educating people about their bodies, their mobility possibilities and I love watching them feel better and more connected to their own practice.”

Could you share 2 facts about yourself?
“I’m a huge metal, punk, industrial fan, but also Brazilian music fan. I regularly go to concerts of heavy music, I love how cathartic and honest it is. Almost every week I watch a concert, either friends play somewhere, or I just end up in some weird space to catch some weird experimental band playing.
I have a BA in Design, and used to work for Pl***oy Magazine in Brazil, up until 2014.”

What’s your music style? 🎶

Meet our teacher - Alex 🧘‍♀️

“I have a deep fascination with how us humans make sense of our experience in this world. It started with psychology and then evolved with the discovery of yoga and somatics. This was the missing link between the mind and the body. “

- Why do you love teaching?
Teaching this practice is a huge honour, and lately I see it as a personal responsibility. I believe we owe it to ourselves to discover who we truly are, and I try to create a context on the mat for people to open themselves up to their felt experience.

- Could you tell us two facts about yourself?

“A few months ago I started writing a blog on Substack that reignited my passion for using words and language as self-expression. I write about nervous system resilience, somatic intelligence and holistic healing.

I used to organise electronic music parties when I lived in London, before my yoga era. Those were some fun years! I still love a good musical experience on the dance floor occasionally, and I dance regularly in my living room 😌”

Meet our teacher - Noga 🧘

“Hi everyone, I am Noga. I am a yoga teacher and a somatic practitioner, living and working in Berlin in the last 8 years.
I first came across yoga and meditation through my dance studies over 10 years ago, and I remember being instantly hooked. I remember meeting there the experience that I can be however I am, and start from there – and what a powerful impact this had on me. Since then, yoga has been a stable companion in my life, a place of an ongoing exploration.”

- why do you love teaching?
“One of the things I love about teaching, is inviting students to a space in which we are encouraged to relate to ourselves with attention, respect and curiosity, and to include the felt experience of our bodies within our perception of reality. approaching ourselves with enough interest and enough spaciousness. I believe that when we practice that, shifts can happen, and our ability to meet the terms of our life with congruence can increase. I also love the idea of a space where we can practice – which to me also includes the freedom to experiment, question, get bored, fail, re-try – entering the state of malleability in which we can learn something (old?) new.”

could you share 2 facts about yourself?
“For a long time I was sure that the word Lebensmittel (groceries) is pronounced Leben-sh-mittel (or I guess Leben-sch-mittel if you are german), and pronounced it this way with much confidence 😂
I still appreciate the straightforwardness of this wording, relating to food as means of life.
Often before teaching a class, especially if I am arriving from a full day, I will spend a few moments looking at a tree as my preparation and inspiration.”

✨“To me, yoga is…” ✨
We asked our Yoga Hub teachers to finish that sentence - and their answers were as unique and inspiring as they are 🌿

For some, yoga is grounding.
For others, it’s freedom, presence or coming home to the self.

Yoga isn’t one-size-fits-all. That’s the beauty of it 💛

So now we’d love to hear from you:
What does yoga mean to you? ⬇️

Meet our teacher - Görkem! ✨

“I’m Görkem, a certified yoga and face yoga teacher based in Berlin. I guide classes in Hatha Yoga, Pregnancy Yoga, Yin Yoga, Breath-Body-Mind™ and Face Yoga. I love creating mindful spaces where people can reconnect with their bodies, release tension and feel more radiant inside and out.”

- Why do you love teaching?
“I love teaching because it’s a beautiful way to share what has helped me feel balanced, calm and confident in my own skin. Holding space for people to feel safe, seen and more connected to themselves inspires me every day.”

- Tell us 2 facts about you
“I specialise in combining traditional yoga styles like Hatha and Yin with face yoga, Breath-Body-Mind™ techniques and even facial kinesio taping — it’s a little different, but my students love leaving class feeling uplifted, relaxed and glowing from the inside out. I’m passionate about showing people that self-care can be simple, joyful and part of everyday life. My big dream is to share this work through retreats and teacher training, creating spaces where we can slow down, reconnect with ourselves and learn the little rituals that make a big difference.

“I always carry a mini gua sha and face oil in my bag — you never know when you’ll need a quick face massage! Every day, I love starting my morning with yoga, tongue scraping and dry brushing — then a big cup of herbal tea and a few mindful breaths to ground myself. In the evening, you’ll always find me doing a little face yoga and stretching before bed. My friends joke that my bag is a ‘mobile spa’ because I’m never without my tiny self-care tools!”

Would you like to have a mobile spa like Görkem has? 🧖‍♀️

Dukkha: Life brings challenges - and accepting that is the first step.

Samudaya: The root of our suffering is often within - not in the outside world.

Nirodha: Peace is possible - when we understand and soften what’s inside us.

Magga: There is a path forward - through conscious living, breath by breath.

Now it’s your turn:

Meet our teacher - Kiawna! 🧘‍♀️

“I’m a California-raised, Berlin-based yoga teacher, freelance writer, and content creator. I love living in this eclectic city more every year - especially once winter is over!”

Why do you love teaching?

“My favorite part of teaching is the sense of community - some of my regulars of become friends outside of the studio and for that I’m so grateful! I also appreciate the opportunity to help my students see yoga as a path towards self-acceptance and always hope that my flows make them feel empowered to embrace the uniqueness of their practice. ♥️”

Could you share with us 2 facts about yourself?
“I love to wear many hats in my professional life as it keeps life dynamic and fun. I finished my PhD in Literature in 2024 and have been forging a new path for myself since. My greatest love is teaching, and I have taught both yoga and language/writing for many years.

I am a passionate polyglot and have learned English, Italian, Spanish, French and a little German! I see it as the best tool for connection with others ☺️”

Kiawna holds Aromatherapy slow flow class every Tuesday at 6pm in Pberg studio 🤍

Meet our teacher - Fabrizi 🧘‍♂️

“I started to be curious about meditation since I was 15.
Which lead me to spirituality around the age of 25
Consciousness brought me to this beautiful world of yoga and spirituality which at the end is all interconnected.
Even though is a very deep and profound topic I always try to find the way not to sound so serious😜”

- Why do you love teaching?
“Since long time ago I enjoy giving a helping hand and since sound healing/ sound bath is about holding a secure space for the student that wants to deep into their own consciousness and looking for self relief or healing in some sort, Is for me already rewarding to watch how students feel very relaxed, calm or even happy after the class. “

- could you tell us 2 fun facts about you?
“My music background education, plus living in the mountains for a while (San Cristobal de las Casas) back in Mexico, a good friend that introduce me to cacao ceremonies and lots of traditional Indian music understanding is the result for my very specific technic of Sound Healing / Sound bath.
Also, I love to pet any kind of animal that let itself be pet.”
