Bija Yoga Berlin

Bija Yoga Berlin Bija Yoga is a multilingual space and home for yoga, bodywork, and meditation in Berlin Kreuzberg. Why Bija? Who’s at Bija? What’s at Bija? Where is Bija?

Bija Yoga is a new, multilingual space for yoga, bodywork and meditation coming to Berlin Kreuzberg in October 2017. Bija in Sanskrit means ‘seed’ – the essence or heart of a thing. We believe yoga is a series of tools intended to help each of us return to that seed, reconnect to it, and help it take root to grow in the world. While we are open to other lineages and styles, most teachers at Bija are primarily influenced by ISHTA Yoga – the Integrated Science of Hatha, Tantra and Ayurveda. Bija is also the home of the Berlin ISHTA Yoga Community and Teacher Trainings. Learn more about ISHTA (https://ishtayogaberlin.com/). In addition to weekly flow classes in English and German, we offer pre & postnatal courses in English; regular workshops in topics like restorative yoga, meditation, yoga and voice, and more; and ongoing 200- and 300-hour Yoga Alliance-registered Teacher Trainings in the ISHTA style. We’re located in the beautiful Graefekiez ‘yoga row’, between the U8 (Schönleinstr.) and the U7 (Südstern). You may also take the M41 to Körtestrasse. See ‘Finding Us’ for maps and more details.
