ImmunoSensation2 ist ein Exzellenzcluster der Universität Bonn, das seit 2012 interdisziplinäre Forschung im Bereich der Immunologie betreibt. Über 100 Forschungsgruppen sind am Universitätsklinikum Bonn, dem LIMES-Institut und dem DZNE angesiedelt. Unsere Mission ist es, das Immunsystem in Gesundheit und Krankheit zu erforschen. 🔬Was sind extrazelluläre Vesikel und wie nutzt man sie in der Wissenschaft?

Vesikel sind kleine Bläschen, die von Zellen abgegeben werden und der Kommunikation dienen. Man kann sie in verschiedene Kategorien einteilen.

In der medizinischen Forschung können sie als Marker zu Diagnosezwecken eingesetzt werden oder als Vehikel, um bestimmte Stoffe durch den Körper zu transportieren.

🖌 Join the Science & Art Workshop NeuVa Mandalas taking place September 14, 21, and 28 at the Impulse House for Innovation and Creativity in Bonn.

The Mandala Project aims at crafting collective art pieces with a scientific twist that will be used for art exhibitions and events.

🌄 Impressionen von der ImmunoSensation Summer School mit dem Thema "Immune Diversity".

An der 4-tägigen School in Königswinter im Siebengebirge nahmen 20 PhD-Studierende teil. Sie hatten die Möglichkeit sich untereinander auszutauschen und an interessanten Workshops, Vorträgen und Poster Sessions teilzunehmen. Außerdem bekamen sie Input von Cluster Professor:innen und einem Gastprecher.

Veranstaltungen wie diese sind in der wissenschaftlichen Community äußerst wichtig für den Austausch und als Erfahrung für junge Wissenschaftler:innen.

Wir feiern den internationalen Tag der Immunologie am 26.04.2025! Besucht uns in unserem Zelt auf dem Marktplatz in Bonn und unterhaltet euch mit unseren Wissenschaftler:innen über aktuelle immunologische und gesundheitsrelevante Themen oder seht euch unsere überdimensionalen Organmodelle an. Außerdem könnt ihr an interessanten Experimenten teilnehmen.
Ab 14:30 Uhr finden in der Poststraße 26 spannende Vorträge statt, in denen die Forschung des Clusters verständlich erklärt wird. Schaut auf unserer Website vorbei für mehr Infos (Link in Bio).
