• CE credits: 32 hours/IVCA
Schedule:
Day 1 - Darrall Clifford will take you through the concept of bioengineering of the Distal Interphalangeal Joint in theory and practice. Understanding and optimizing the complex interrelationship between hoof balance and biomechanics of the body is the key to the foundation of optimal equine movement and adressing hoof balance is prevention of recurrent subluxation patterns and lack of treatment success.
Day 2 - Dr Lena Clifford will teach about highly effective advanced neurological release techniques to gently reset the CNS and PNS and restore balance to the muscular-skeletal system in theory and practice. This will help to manage difficult patients and increase feel and skill.
Day 3 - Dr Ines Wecker shares a practical and effective algorithm for how to diagnose underlying problems preventing the chiropractic treatment success. Amongst others we will notice main obstacles like subclinical lameness issues that do not show easily, internal problems and myofascial restrictions. The practical part includes the regular job while focussing advanced diagnose and treatment techniques like AK and pulse diagnose as well as soft adjusting techniques where appropriate. The individual treatment plans will adress underlying problems and includes options to adress them individually with adjunct herbs, acupuncture, homeopathy, myofascial release techniques amongst other modalities.
Day 4 – All speakers on true cases. Diagnosing the individual case, Integration with chiropractic and orthopaedic balance, development of individual treatment strategies and application of tailor-suited combined treatment modalities and bioengeneering of the DIJ in horses.
