Merry Christmas.

SIMO takes over the Baltics! – Now officially operating in Latvia & Lithuania

Last week we were on the road in the beautiful Baltic region:

🇱🇻 SIMO Launch at Unihaus in Riga, Latvia

Together with Oskars and his fantastic team, we delivered SIMO and participated the next day in a major seminar hosted in one of the largest rehab centers near Riga.
Organized by Unihaus, the event brought together around 100 participants – therapists, doctors, and clinical staff – who received hands-on training in:
• Professional wheelchair measurement
• Spex seating systems
• SIMO wheelchair simulation and analysis

Unihaus now operates SIMO directly inside the clinic, enabling precise, modern, and patient-centered wheelchair assessments for users on-site.

🇱🇹 Next Stop: Lithuania – SIMO at Biomedikos Centras

From Riga we continued straight to Vilnius, Lithuania, where we delivered SIMO to Jonas and his team.
We spent an amazing training and testing day together, working with several wheelchair users who had the chance to experience SIMO live.

Their engagement, openness, and professional approach made the visit truly special.

A heartfelt thank you to Unihaus, Biomedikos Centras, and all therapists, clinicians, and participants for the warm welcome, excellent organization, and inspiring collaboration.

We look forward to many exciting projects, to elevating wheelchair assessment quality in the region – and to seeing you all again soon!

In this video, Sascha Becker emphasizes that properly measuring and fitting a wheelchair requires genuine specialist expertise. It’s not just about technical know-how—it’s about deeply understanding how a person needs to sit in a wheelchair and having the hands-on experience to make the right decisions. He explains that this level of skill can only be developed over time, through working directly with users and learning how even the smallest adjustments affect posture, comfort, and mobility.

And that, he says, is precisely what makes SIMO so unique: it’s a tool designed for these specialists—supporting their expertise with immediate, tangible feedback. SIMO doesn’t replace professional judgment; instead, it confirms it, refines it, and makes it even more reliable. For Sascha Becker, this combination of human experience and precise simulation is what sets SIMO apart in the field of wheelchair provision.

Our journey started with the Export Meeting at Meyra in Porta Westfalica, where we had the opportunity to exchange ideas, share innovations, and connect with partners from across the globe. From there, we headed straight to three exciting days at REHACARE – International Trade Fair for Rehabilitation and Care 2025 in Düsseldorf.

It was a week full of meaningful encounters – reconnecting with long-standing contacts and establishing many new international connections.

We are deeply grateful for the constructive and forward-looking conversations we had, and for the chance to share perspectives on how to continue improving wheelchair provision together.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone we met – partners, colleagues, friends – for making this week so valuable. We wish you all a safe journey home and look forward to the collaborations and projects that will follow!

Two Inspiring Days at the Meyra Export Meeting in Germany

Over the past two days, we had the privilege of joining the Meyra Export Meeting in Germany as Wheel Greece. Representatives from more than 30 countries and over 70 partners came together to share knowledge, discuss innovation, and shape the future of mobility solutions.

We were honored to be given a slot to present SIMO – our wheelchair simulator – and the response could not have been more positive.

Why was SIMO such a highlight?
✅ For professionals – SIMO makes the measurement process faster, more precise, and less physically demanding. Experts can see in real time how adjustments impact the user’s posture, ensuring an optimal fit from the very beginning.
✅ For wheelchair users – It’s not just about numbers and measurements. SIMO makes the process tangible and understandable. Users can feel and see what “optimal seating” really means, actively take part in their own provision, and gain confidence in their new wheelchair.
✅ For the healthcare system – Fewer adjustments afterwards, less risk of errors, and a smoother, more efficient process.

Together with Meyra, we share the same mission: to provide the best possible wheelchairs and ensure every user receives a solution that truly fits their life.

Now, the exciting work begins – developing strategies for each country, adapting to their unique needs while making SIMO accessible through our flexible rental model.

A huge thank you to Meyra Group and Frank B. McDowell for their incredible support, and to all the partners for the inspiring discussions and enthusiasm. We are excited to continue these conversations and co-create the right business models for each market.

The future of wheelchair provision is not only about technology – it’s about collaboration, innovation, and always keeping the user at the center. And SIMO is here to make that future possible.
