We’re introducing a new weekly series "Course Spotlight".

Every Thursday, we’ll be highlighting one of our training formats — giving you a closer look at the structure, focus, and learning experience behind each course.

Starting in endoscopy requires more than theoretical knowledge — it’s about gaining confidence in handling equipment, understanding clinical workflows, and ensuring patient safety from day one.

This course provides a structured introduction to gastro- and bronchoscopy, covering essential techniques, device handling, hygiene standards, and the roles within the endoscopy team. Participants also gain first insights into complication awareness and how to respond in critical situations.

Designed for endoscopy nurses, assistants and junior physicians, it offers a safe and guided entry into everyday clinical practice.

Course Recap

Our first on the Road training of 2026 brought us to Chemnitz – opening the new season of regional hands-on education. 🛣️

With the ""ERCP Next Steps"" course, we offered a natural continuation of last year’s introductory training in the region – supporting participants as they further develop their procedural confidence step by step.

The programme focused on more advanced techniques, structured decision-making and challenging scenarios, among many other practical aspects beyond the basics.

We sincerely thank the team from the Klinikum Chemnitz gGmbH for their expertise and dedication in making this on-site course possible. 👏

👉 Two successful days at the Digestive Disease Days (DDD) Spring Congress 2026 in the Netherlands.

It was a pleasure connecting with so many healthcare professionals and discussing the latest developments in endoscopy.
