*A Message from the CEO/Founder (STF) in celebration of the International Women's Day 2024**

On this International Women's Day, I am filled with pride as we come together to celebrate the resilience and strength of the women and girls of Sierra Leone.

In our beloved country, we face unique challenges, including economic hardship and the prevalent issue of substance abuse (commonly known as Kush). At ShekunTepe Foundation, we recognize the importance of addressing these challenges head-on, as we work towards empowering the next generation of leaders.

Today, under the theme 'Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress' and with a focus on 'Inspire Inclusion', we reaffirm our commitment to providing young vulnerable children, including orphans, with the tools and support they need to overcome these obstacles and thrive.

Through our programs, we not only prioritize education but also offer resources and guidance to address the root causes of economic hardship and substance abuse. By investing in their holistic development, we are not just changing individual lives, but also transforming communities for the better.

As CEO, I am humbled by the dedication of my team and the unwavering support of our partner organizations and supporters. Together, we are making a tangible difference in the lives of these women, empowering them to break free from the cycle of poverty and substance abuse.

This International Women's Day, let us continue to stand united in our mission; let's invest in women, inspire inclusion, and build a brighter future for all.

In Sierra Leone, many less privileged, vulnerable, marginalized, physically challenged pupils, and survivor of SGBV, face even greater challenges in accessing quality education. But together, we can make a difference!.
