💛 Happy first of May! Happy May Day! Happy Beltane! 💛
Today marks the halfway point between Spring Equinox and Summer Solstice in the Northern Hemisphere. You can feel how we are moving towards summer: longer days with more sunlight, so much growth in our gardens, the wild singing of the birds... It is a time to celebrate the springtime energies of abundance, aliveness, love, passion, vitality, joy, fertility and whatever you wish to celebrate.
An old tradition in many northern countries is to wear flower crowns and dance around a maypole, intertwining colourful ribbons in the dance as a symbol of male and female energies that love to interweave at this time of the year in the animal kingdom and in the human realms.
No matter if you are going to wear flower crowns and dance around a maypole or not, we wish you a wonderful day of merriment and joy! May you connect to the special energis of the season.
And to all of you in the Southern Hemisphere: Enjoy the midway point between the Autumn Equinox and the Winter Solstice as you are going deeper into winter, celebrating Samhain or Halloween, remembering the ones who have passed through the veil before us.
