先週末、メアブッシュでの「門出」をテーマにしたマルシェが無事に終了しました。
想像以上に多くの方にお越しいただき、本当にありがとうございました。
もっとゆっくり皆さまとお話ししたかったのですが、あっという間の時間でした。
プロのセンスで器が使われ、空間が作られていく様子はとても新鮮で、私自身も新たな視点や学びをたくさん得ることができました。
器をお持ち帰りいただいた方、ぜひその後の使用感やサイズ感、重さなど率直なご感想をお聞かせいただけたら嬉しいです。
（食洗機・電子レンジもご使用いただけます）
今回お会いできなかった方とも、次回はお会いできることを願っています。素晴らしいチームに恵まれ、本当に良い会となりました。
最初から最後まで笑顔でまとめてくださった女神に感謝を。そして一緒に作り上げてきたチームにも心からお礼申し上げます。

Letztes Wochenende ist unser Marché in Meerbusch zum Thema „Aufbruch“ erfolgreich zu Ende gegangen.
Vielen Dank an alle, die gekommen sind – es waren viel mehr, als ich erwartet hatte!
Ich hätte gerne mit jedem einzelnen noch mehr gesprochen, aber die Zeit ist wie im Flug vergangen.
Es war unglaublich schön zu sehen, wie meine Keramik durch die professionelle Gestaltung in neue Zusammenhänge gebracht wurde – das hat mir selbst ganz neue Perspektiven eröffnet.
An alle, die ein Stück mit nach Hause genommen haben:
Ich würde mich sehr über euer ehrliches Feedback freuen – zur Nutzung, Größe oder zum Gewicht. (Spülmaschine und Mikrowelle sind übrigens kein Problem)
An alle, die diesmal nicht kommen konnten – ich hoffe, wir sehen uns beim nächsten Mal!
Ich bin sehr dankbar für dieses wunderbare Team.
Ein besonderer Dank an unsere „Göttin“, die alles von Anfang bis Ende mit einem Lächeln zusammengehalten hat.

Zum Abschluss der Osterferien, am 12. April, bin ich in Meerbusch.

Gemeinsam mit anderen Gestalterinnen entsteht eine Tischlandschaft –
mit Keramik, floralen Arbeiten, pflanzengefärbten Textilien, Pâtisserie, feinen Speisen sowie Schmuck und Duft.

Meine Arbeiten aus Frankfurt werden Teil dieser Komposition.

In dieser Zusammenarbeit entsteht eine gemeinsame Raumgestaltung, in der meine Keramik von jeder einzelnen Position aufgegriffen und neu interpretiert wird.

Ein ruhiger Nachmittag im Zeichen des Frühlings und neuer Anfänge.

4月12日（日）、イースター休暇の終わりに、メアブッシュにてイベントを行います。

器・お花・草木染め・お菓子・お料理、そしてジュエリーと香りが一つのテーブルとして重なり合う空間です。

それぞれの作り手が私の器を使いながら、空間全体をつくり上げています。
とても美しい春らしい仕上がりになると思います。
13時からどなたでもお越しいただけます。
久々に古巣で懐かしい方々にお会いできることを楽しみにしています。

At last, the weather is getting warmer. The days of wondering whether the snow was finally over have quietly passed.
During winter, I stay in my studio and focus entirely on my work. As spring approaches, I feel a renewed energy for creating, and I truly look forward to this season.
I’ve finally gotten used to my new wheel. The one I used before didn’t seem to suit my body. Now the back pain, lower back strain, and even the muscle soreness from pressing the pedal are all gone. My efficiency has improved noticeably. New equipment really makes a difference.

ようやく暖かくなってきました。雪もこれで終わりかな、寒い日々が静かに過ぎていきます。
冬の間は工房で制作貯金をしています。春が近づくと自ずと野生力が湧いてきて、この季節を心から楽しみにしています。
新しい轆轤にようやく慣れてきました。これまで使っていたものは体に合っていなかったのかもしれません。今では背中や腰の痛み、足のペダルを踏む筋肉痛もなくなり、制作の効率が上がりました。新しい機械はすごいですね。

静かでパワーもあり作業は快適ですが、慣れるまでは少し戸惑いも。良い作業環境づくりは本当に難しい。

Seit zwei Wochen arbeite ich mit einer neuen Werkstattanordnung und einer neuen Töpferscheibe. Sie ist leise, kraftvoll und angenehm – aber es braucht Zeit, sich daran zu gewöhnen. Jetzt fühlt es sich richtig an.
Eine gute Arbeitsumgebung zu schaffen ist wirklich nicht einfach.

In January, I finally gave my studio the attention it’s been asking for for years. I’d long thought, If only that shelf were ten centimeters lower, or If the light were just a little more to the left, I’d be able to work more comfortably. These small thoughts had been piling up in my head for ages, and this winter I decided to deal with them all at once. For a while, the studio was total chaos. Dust came off shelves that hadn’t been touched in years, and I let go of things I clearly no longer needed. But once it was done, the space felt lighter—and so did my mind.
With everything finally in order, I’ve been able to sit quietly and think again. About the designs I’ve been carrying with me for a long time, and about the ones I want to explore next. Now the studio is clean, and my thoughts feel the same way.
Next, I’m going to start using the new wheel I just bought. It’s large, quiet, and the pedals can be adjusted exactly how I like them, so it already feels easy to work with. From here, I plan to keep moving forward and working steadily for another year.

明けましておめでとうございます。
少し遅くなりましたが、今年もどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。
今年は、暦では馬年。60年に一度巡ってくる「丙午（ひのえうま）」は、火の勢いを持った馬が一年を駆け抜ける、エネルギーの強い年と言われています。陶芸は、火というエネルギーを使いながら、
自分の制作を深めていく仕事です。失敗の多かった2025年の経験を糧に、これまで積み重ねてきたことを土台にしながら、制作と向き合っていきたいと思います。
制作に集中することは大切ですが、ひと段落すると切り替え違う世界を見に行きたくなります。今年もいろいろな空を見に行ける機会を作れるよう、またパリとフランクフルトを行き来しながら、フランスでの新しい出会いや刺激を大切にしていきます。
1枚目の写真は、かなり昔に作っていたティーポットを、パリで久しぶりに小さなサイズで作ったものです。
今年もこれまでのモデルを少しずつ改良し、より使いやすい形へと発展させていく予定です。
今年もどうぞよろしくお願いいたします。

Happy New Year,
and although a bit late, I wish you all a wonderful year ahead.
According to the traditional calendar, this year is the Year of the Horse. The Fire Horse, which comes once every 60 years, is known for its strong energy — a horse running powerfully through the year. Ceramics is a practice of working with the energy of fire, deepening one’s own creative process.
Drawing on the many trials and errors of 2025, I will continue to build on what I have cultivated so far and stay focused on my work.
As in previous years, I will continue traveling between Paris and Frankfurt, valuing new encounters and inspiration along the way. Focusing on making is essential, but once a cycle comes to an end, I feel the need to step outsideand see a different world.
This year, I hope to see many different skies.
The first photo shows a teapot I originally made many years ago, revisited in a smaller size in Paris.
By gradually refining the existing model, I aim to develop it into a more functional and thoughtful form.
Thank you for your continued support this year.

Thank you all for this year, for the conversations, the advice, and the shared moments.
Working as a ceramic artist, this year taught me a lot. I use this camel photo every year, and I will keep using it until a better one appears. Next year is the Year of the Horse, so it feels just right with these images.
With a fresh mindset, I’m ready for new challenges ahead.
