With a strong foundation, you stand firmly on your own two feet and can take steps A, B, and C to achieve your life goals.

You could say that your base chakra is like a daily life manager. It ensures that you are clear-headed and present, and that's how others perceive you.

However, a fear-based aspect of your daily life management is also your survival instinct. It constantly scans your environment for "friend or foe," "helpful or threatening," "safety or loss" - and then decides whether you should react with "fight" or "flight."

The other person senses this. Either your energy is withdrawn, hiding, or you literally freeze - or the other person perceives you as aggressive, annoyed, or intrusive because your instinct says, "attack is the best form of defense."

So don't leave your PRESENCE solely to your survival instinct...

Now choose a situation in which you want to come across as stronger and more present. Breathe consciously and deeply into your core, down your legs and into the ground.

As you exhale, release clear, powerful energy into your energy field. Make sure your eyes and facial expression are fully awake. Then observe how the other person reacts to you.

Don't worry! It's okay to overdo it a little at first!

Spring Awakening: The old is allowed to go and the new is inexorably making its way. Not only in nature, but also within us, new energies are arising during this time and we get “spring feelings”. Not only in the Christian world are the days of EASTERN a celebration of the resurrection from death and the re-awakening of life.

How would you like to use these newly awakened energies for yourself?

• Maybe you would like to take in spring energies and its fresh greenery with all your senses?
• Being warmed by the still young sun while taking a walk in nature?
• Breathing in the first scents of the flowering bushes and trees? Enjoying the colors of magnolias, daffodils, hyacinths and tulips?
• Or maybe the “old” in your life needs a little push out the door to make room for the new?
• Cleaning up the apartment, finally sorting out unused clothes or fasting for a while or giving up certain luxury foods?

This is how you could use this Easter Season for your own awakening. Meditate for a few minutes longer, take more time for your yoga or for reflecting on yourself and your life, the old and the new.

What in your life does no longer serve you? These can be unsatisfactory relationships with people or certain thoughts, emotions or behavior patterns.

What could you finally let go of, spurred on by new energies? What could you sort out? What could you possibly clarify or resolve through an honest conversation?

What is the new thing that wants to unfold in this world through you? What new impulses do you receive from your soul? Take time for yourself, you are worth it!

The word Kundalini (“serpent power”) comes from Sanskrit and refers to an ethereal energy at the base of the spine, the root chakra (Muladhara). There, it lies coiled like a sleeping snake.

When we awaken the dormant Kundalini, we open the reservoir of an incredible vital primal force of aliveness and thus begin the process of moving this vitality upwards along the spine.

As the life energy, Prana, travels up the core channel, it energizes and connects all the chakras along the way and stimulates dormant energy.

Society and religion have worked very hard to try and control the rawness of the instincts of the lower animal. They have tried to control and put boxes around these centers.

But there are other possible ways of working with the base chakra that perhaps might be of use to us. And the basic approach we take is, instead of boxing up, we open it very consciously. Instead of just trying to control it, we unlock it.

We begin to use that energy with awareness and direct it within the human energy system to other centers, to other places. Basically, we open the fires and then we channel them in the psyche through various energy pathways upwards.

We use practices such as breath control (pranayama), chakra meditations and energy work as a means of moving, locking and sealing prana to restore balance in body and mind.

Spiritual awakening is the goal of Energy Balancing. Through the conscious upward movement of the awakened Kundalini and the flow of the soul from the crown down to the base, a healthy alternation of ascending and descending energy flow is created.

In this way, the Kundalini is available for the transformation of the entire energy system.

We would like to invite you today to take part in our upcoming BASE CHAKRA seminar from April 16th to April 19th 2026, which takes part in a beautiful Spiritual Retreat in Beausejour, near Winnipeg, Canada.

What can you expect as a workshop participant? To put it into one bold statement: THE LIBERATION OF YOUR FUNDAMENTAL ENERGY.

Most people have underlying fears, mistrust and energetic blockages that prevent them from using their full energy for themselves and their lives.

Think about it:
• What would your life be like if you no longer had limiting fears?
• If you faced life with courage and confidence?
• If you approached new projects with motivation and enthusiasm?
• If you hadn't constantly unhealthy thoughts about anything that could happen?

Exactly, it would be a very radical change! And that is exactly what we strive for with our participants.

Are you a rock in the surf of life? Or do you sometimes feel like a pawn in the game, being tossed back and forth? From an energetic perspective, a strong BASE chakra is like a rock in the surf. It helps you withstand the forces that tug at you.

This energy center at the base of your spine is the foundation of your entire energy system. It provides you with a huge reservoir of energy. In evolutionary terms, it is the earliest of your 7 chakras. All other chakras are building on this chakra.

If the BASE CHAKRA is unstable, "stuck" or contracted, or if it is constantly in action, "rampant" or drained, you lack the right balance of grounding, strength, vitality and liveliness.

So, try this little AWARENESS EXERCISE:

1. Come into the here and now. Feel your feet on the ground. Then consciously breathe into the core channel along your spine. Let the breath flow alternately downwards and upwards.

2. Now feel your BASE chakra, the area between your tailbone and ge****ls, at the base of your spine. Imagine this energy center as a bowl filled with fiery energy.

3. Does your base feel calm, full, and round? Or rather constricted and uplifted, or withdrawn? Or is it very active or agitated, full of restlessness, fear, or even aggression? Or do you feel nothing at all?

4. Visualize yourself as a rock in the "surf of life." Are you strong like a rock? Or more like a pebble? How strong is the surf of your life? What makes you and your resilience waver? Conflicts, emotions, thoughts, news, Facebook, other people, etc.?

Our brain doesn’t distinguish between reality and fantasy. When you remember a beautiful vacation, the body reacts to this mental image with positive changes, even though this situation is NOT happening right here and now!

If you think of a fear-inducing situation, your brain reacts, but this time with typical fight-or-flight mechanisms: "Friend or foe? Is my life threatened?" Our evolutionary system wants to avoid the fear trigger at all costs.

You might get into a bad mood and become irritable. Or you might suddenly feel "really tired" or have "no time at all" to tackle the unpleasant task or start that clarifying conversation.

Fear makes our breathing faster and shallower, and our heart rate and pulse increase. But you can regulate your body's fear response through breath awareness.

So here is the "HOW TO BREATHE AGAINST FEAR" EXERCISE:

1. Close your eyes and imagine a frightening situation. Picture yourself, for example, in a job interview, during a conflict, or in a difficult conversation. Notice how your body reacts to the image.

2. Now consciously focus on your breathing: Is it shallow or deep, restless or calm, fast or slow? Are you holding your breath or are you hyperventilating?

3. Now use CONSCIOUS BREATHING. Count from 1 to 4, inhaling calmly. Continue counting from 5 to 11, exhaling calmly. Repeat this a few times and then let your body breathe naturally again. Counting makes the exhalation phase longer than the inhalation phase, which calms down your autonomic nervous system.

4. Now consciously breathe into the BASE CHAKRA at the bottom of your spine. Relax the muscles around your a**s and between your p***c bone and tailbone.

5. Imagine deep, resonant, ringing bell tones at your case. Or imagine the Earth's volcanic power warming and expanding your base.

6. Close your eyes again and revisit the frightening situation. Notice how your body responds to the mental image NOW. Probably much more relaxed. Make sure you continue to breathe calmly and deeply.
