Nach dem erfolgreichen Abschluss des MSc.Ost. an der IAO eröffnen sich zahlreiche berufliche Perspektiven:

✅ Eigene Praxis eröffnen |
Mit einer Heilpraktikererlaubnis (oder als Ärzt*in) kannst du eine eigene osteopathische Praxis in Deutschland gründen.

✅ Arbeiten in interdisziplinären Gesundheitszentren |
Viele Osteopathinnen arbeiten in Gemeinschaftspraxen mit Physiotherapeutinnen, Ärzt*innen oder anderen Gesundheitsfachkräften.

✅ Weiter spezialisieren |
Mit unseren Postakademischen Modulen (PAM) kannst du dich gezielt weiterentwickeln.

Studieren und arbeiten? Bei der IAO ist das problemlos möglich.

Bei der IAO wissen wir, dass viele unserer Studentinnen bereits als Physiotherapeutinnen oder Ärzt*innen tätig sind. Deshalb sind unsere Ausbildungen modular und flexibel aufgebaut - ideal, um Studium und Beruf miteinander zu verbinden.

Que puis-je faire avec mon diplôme ?

Avec ton diplôme DO de l’IAO, tu peux exercer comme ostéopathe en cabinet libéral ou au sein d’une équipe pluridisciplinaire.
Tu peux également combiner l’ostéopathie avec ta pratique actuelle enkinésithérapie ou en médecine.

La demande pour des soins ostéopathiques de qualité est en constante augmentation - ton diplôme de l’IAO t’ouvre de nombreuses opportunités professionnelles !

👶✨ The Paediatric Examination: First Year Of Life | February 12–14, 2026 - GHENT

In this intensive 3-day postacademic module, you’ll explore the osteopathic approach to infants in their first year of life.

You’ll dive into:
° Clinical examination techniques
° Interpretation of symptoms
° Adapted treatment strategies

This PAM is ideal for osteopaths who want to gain more confidence and skill in treating the youngest patients, with precision, care and safety.

🗣️ Taught in English by Didde Thorsted.
Didde is an Aut. Physiotherapist, Aut. Osteopath DO, M.R.O.DK, and Naturopath.
She also holds a DO and a PG Cert in Paediatric Osteopathy. She is co-owner of Klinik, five osteopathic clinics in and around Copenhagen, specialising in the treatment of women and children.

Vandaag herdenken we de geboortedag van Andrew Taylor Still (6 augustus 1828 - 12 december 1917), de grondlegger van de osteopathie en de American School of Osteopathy, nu bekend als A.T. Still University. Still was een visionaire arts, chirurg, uitvinder en wetgever.
Bedankt, Dr. Andrew Taylor Still, voor de impact op onze medische wereld.

Nous commémorons aujourd'hui l'anniversaire d'Andrew Taylor Still (6 août 1828 - 12 décembre 1917), le fondateur de l'ostéopathie et de l'école américaine d'ostéopathie, aujourd'hui connue sous le nom d'université A.T. Still.
Still était un médecin, un chirurgien, un inventeur et un législateur visionnaire. Merci, Dr Andrew Taylor Still, d'avoir marqué notre monde médical.
