Here's a Secret to Make Kundalini Yoga More Effective

Align the Three Diaphragms:
Pelvic, Respiratory, and Laryngeal

Follow these steps before entering into an asana or posture within a kriya, or forming a mudra within a meditation:

✅ In a sitting or standing position, align your pelvic diaphragm (your hips) with your respiratory diaphragm (your ribcage).
✅ Allow your spine to lengthen.
✅ Then bring your throat, neck and head into a light jalundhar bandh. This engages the laryngeal diaphragm.

Taking the time to align your three diaphragms modulates the autonomic nervous system, re-sets vagal tone, and builds stress resilience before even starting a kriya or meditation.

Guiding students into this conscious alignment can provide a deeper experience of the practice and give more effective results.

In the Ayurvedic tradition, cloves are associated with the Fire and Air elements.

Cloves are described as having heating properties and are considered beneficial for improving digestion.​ They are noted for their anti-inflammatory and analgesic properties. ​

Ayurvedic tradition recommends clove water to remove phlegm, clear respiratory conditions or asthma, and to prevent viral and bacterial infections.
