Congratulations to MCpl Snow, awarded Commander CFHS Gp Coin by Brigadier-General Marilynn Chenette and Chief Warrant Officer Dupont.
On 18 July 2025, while supporting Formation Europe Nijmegen teams, MCpl Snow showed exceptional professionalism and leadership at a civilian motor vehicle accident involving a cyclist. Arriving before emergency services, he took control, directed traffic, and began emergency care, including C-Spine stabilization. Overcoming language barriers with a civilian interpreter, he ensured accurate patient assessment. MCpl Snow coordinated with Dutch and Canadian personnel for scene safety and handed over care to paramedics smoothly. His calm, decisive actions in a high-stress environment reflected Master Corporal-Level excellence, enhancing patient outcomes and the Canadian Armed Forces reputation abroad.

Notice of clinic closure:

The Canadian Armed Forces Health Services Centre (Ottawa) Det Geilenkirchen clinic will be closed 19 May 2025 for Victoria Day.

Primary Care services will be available by appointment only.

Persons requiring urgent medical care are instructed to contact 112 or report to nearest emergency department.

Patients are asked to ensure an adequate supply of medications prior. Normal operational hours will be resumed Monday 20 May 2025.
