No instrument in the world is played more intensively by hand than a percussion instrument. It is this idea that has set the rhythm for our manufacturing. We build cajons, cajintos, yambus, log drums and other percussion instruments for people with passion in their hearts and rhythm in their blood, for professional musicians all over the world and, to a certain extent, for posterity. In other words, Schlagwerk instruments keep the promise of our craft: to provide masterly manufacturing quality and excellent sound that lasts for many, many years. This is what has made us a role model for 30 years now. We are also proud of the number of friendships that we have developed with musicians and music therapists from all over the world. Hand in hand with them, we have created a range of instruments and accessories that is unique in the world of percussion. Just as unique as each one of our instruments.

Meet our new endorser Sławomir “Sławek” Puchała — a professional drummer and percussionist with nearly two decades of experience on stage and in the studio.

Sławek has been a professional drummer since 2005. He performs across a wide range of styles, from jazz to metal, and works as both a drum and cajón teacher. His career includes collaborations with some of Poland’s most respected artists, including Perfect, Doda, Darek Kozakiewicz, Patrycja Markowska, Stachursky, Ania Dąbrowska, In-Grid, and many more, as well as numerous TV shows and studio productions.

In this video, Sławek performs live with his percussion kit, featuring a Schlagwerk Cajon, the Backbeat Station, and Wooden Bongos — showcasing a powerful, modern setup built for groove, flexibility, and expression.

Sławek has been playing Schlagwerk instruments since 2010. Some of the most important milestones in his career were his collaborations with the legendary band Perfect and guitarist Darek Kozakiewicz. His goal remains the same: to keep growing as a musician and to collaborate with the best artists in Poland.

🎶 Todor Akimov – a full-blooded musician with a versatile sound
Todor Akimov is a drummer and percussionist who feels at home in almost every genre. He’s especially drawn to music with a vintage character — particularly old jazz and classic rock bands — while also exploring electronic and experimental sounds. His particular strength lies in Balkan and Latin music.
Alongside his work as a drum teacher, session drummer, and percussionist, Todor is active with his own band project, BALKAN ROCK TRIO. He’s also part of VARIETY MUSIC, a diverse and well-established music collective in the wedding and events scene.
✨ Highlights & Vision
His highlights so far include an unexpected mini tour in Australia, viral videos, numerous performances at weddings and events, and the ongoing development of his own band project. His vision: more live gigs, an album with the Balkan Rock Trio, and staying open to new and unexpected musical opportunities.
In the video introducing him as a Schlagwerk endorser, Todor plays the Cajon Super Agile Silver Lining with the Heck Stick add-on — performing on a rooftop and letting the city listen in as his grooves fill the air.
