The most recent appropriations for the Department of War expired on 11:59 p.m. EST on Jan. 30, 2026. The Defense Health Agency will continue normal operations until we receive direction from the Department of War.

UPDATE:
: Due to snow accumulation and the deterioration of road conditions, Tower Barracks, Rose Barracks and Hohenfels services are closed, Monday, Jan. 26.
-DoDEA schools are canceled
-Shuttle bus services are canceled
-MEDDAC-B Clinics are doing 4-hour delay across TB/RB & HTA – opening at noon.
-Vehicle registration and inspection are closed
-Exchange and Commissaries will be open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
-Child and Youth Services (e.g. CDCs), the School Age Services and Family Child Care will opened at 9 a.m.
-Directorate of Military Programs: ID cards, passports and in/out-processing will open at 10 a.m. with limited services.
-DFACs across Bavaria will remain open.
-Mission essential personnel will report on time.
-Customers with garrison appointments should expect to reschedule.

: Due to expected heavy snow fall Sunday into Monday, delayed reporting is in effect Monday, Jan. 26 for Tower Barracks, Rose Barracks, and Hohenfels.

▪️Garrison services available to the community will open at 10 a.m.
▪️Child and Youth Services (e.g. CDCs), the School Age Services and Family Child Care will open at 9 a.m.
▪️DoDEA schools and school bus routes begin two hours later than their normal schedule.
▪️Shuttle buses will start at 10 a.m., pending road conditions.
▪️Postal Service Centers will open at 10 a.m.
▪️The Commissary will open at 10 a.m.
▪️AAFES Express (gas stations) will open at 7 a.m.
▪️Exchange main stores, retail, food and concessions will open at 10 a.m.
▪️Medical clinics will open at 10 a.m.
▪️Tower Barracks Gate 1 will be open for inbound traffic until 10:30 a.m., Monday, Jan. 26.
▪️Third Party Housing Inspections: There will be no impact to third party housing inspections scheduled at Hohenfels, as they are already scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.

Please use extreme caution when driving, allow extra time for travel, adjust speed to conditions and travel only if necessary.

Due to inclement weather, U.S. Army Health Clinic Hohenfels, U.S. Army Health Clinic Stuttgart, U.S. Army Health Clinic Vilseck, and U.S. Army Health Clinic Grafenwoehr will operate on a 2-hour delay tomorrow, 09 January 2026. All patients with appointments between 0800–0950 will be contacted and rescheduled.

🚨 IMPORTANT: The Grafenwoehr Army Health Clinic pharmacy will be CLOSED ALL DAY on Tuesday August 19th for a major software upgrade.

Plan ahead: Please ensure you have sufficient medications to cover Tuesdays closure
