As a 𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗮-𝗱𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗮𝗻𝘆, we were delighted to share our 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗻𝘂𝘁𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 with peers from Thailand’s livestock industry.

What began in 1955 as a small trading venture for oils and fats has evolved into a global success story. Founders, Arnold Berg and Hermann Schmidt, built Berg+Schmidt on trust, resilience, and a shared vision — values that continue to guide us today.

When Mr Volkmar Wywiol, who later went on to establish Stern-Wywiol Gruppe, joined in 1981, bringing a breathe of fresh air and his spirit of innovation. Moving beyond trading, Berg+Schmidt began developing proprietary products like BergaFat.

Today, the Berg+Schmidt brand has evolved into a global player:
