Simulation is about building confidence step by step, and that includes mastering the safe preparation of ampule medications.
Here are 4 basic steps to demonstrate ampule preparation using the Wallcur simulated Practi-Furosemide ampule in a training environment.

1️⃣ Tap and set – Ensure liquid is settled away from the neck of the ampule
2️⃣ Locate the pressure point– Align the marked dot or scored neck toward you for safe breaking.
3️⃣ Snap open – Break the ampule neck safely with gauze or an ampule breaker
4️⃣ Draw up – Insert the needle and withdraw the prescribed dosage
