Exciting work underway at , National Institute for Bioprocessing Research and Training in Ireland!
Mel Disher from our UK partner Analytik Ltd. and Sascha Raschke are currently on-site for a one-month demo and workshop in Prof. Mark Smales' lab. Together, they're characterizing surface-engineered and exosome-lipid hybrid systems developed within the project.
This innovative project is supported by the prestigious MedTrain+ grant, co-funded by CÚRAM Centre for Research in Medical Devices and the European Union (Grant Agreement No. 101081457), and explores the potential of engineered exosomes to cross the blood-brain barrier ( ).
The Particle Metrix ZetaView® system has proven to be a valuable tool in this research, as it enables the screening of nanoparticle formulations based on their , , and .
In addition researchers from neighboring institutes are taking the opportunity to characterize a variety of , including , fluorescent , fluorescently stained , and to experience the power of ZetaView® and the intuitive ZetaSphere software firsthand.
