While intermittent fasting is a nutritional protocol with plenty of applications for many individuals, it may not be for everyone, and it would not work magic to help you lose weight.

When trying to follow a new diet/protocol, first evaluate these steps:
* Determine your goals (Health/Performance/Aesthetic…)
* Assess your current diet and lifestyle
* Establish consistency in the quality and quantity of food you eat.

If you decide to experiment with intermittent fasting:
* Start small and observe the effects.
* Increase fasting intervals slowly while your body adapts to the length of non-eating

In any case, if you decide to opt for such a protocol, it would be recommended to check it out with a professional to evaluate and go through the process safely

Sleep has a tremendous impact on cognitive function, mood, and physical performance. This post summarizes different hormones that are released while we sleep. Some of them can play a crucial role in our sport, aiding recovery and maintaining the intensity of your weekly training sessions.

THE OPEN 2024

This year, we will conduct the Open workouts on Saturdays. There will always be a coach present to organize the class. However, since it's the Open, there will be a standardized warm-up to follow before your heat starts. It won't be the regular CrossFit class. On these Saturdays, we aim to create a competition environment in which you have a judge who counts your reps. Competition doesn't mean that performance is the only thing that matters. These Saturdays are about challenging yourselves while exercising with the community and having fun together.

The coach will be present in both rooms, offering support to help you choose the proper scaling options and correcting movements during the workout

Getting back to training after a long pause and a period of so much eating and resting can be hard for the first week. Check these practical applications and adapt them to your level. More experienced athletes will need fewer adaptations than more novice ones with less experience.

In any case, contact your coach if you need personal advice on what you should scale and adapt in the first days after the break

All of the movements will be performed synchro, except for the exercises with an asterisk (*). The Bar MU, Toes To Bar, and Pull-ups have to be performed by each member of the team.

(E.g. I do 11 pull ups, then my partner does 11 pull ups. Same with the Sc. I do 11 Ring rows, then my partner does 11 Ring rows )
