👐🏾We invite you to our Full Body Massage Workshop – an evening dedicated to learning, exploring, and exchanging massage in a safe and supportive environment.

💗Queer massage exchange can be both empowering and nourishing. We believe that touch is essential to life, and that q***r pleasure is rooting resilience in the body as well as in our communities.  Minority stress is very real and living a q***r life demands lots of power and resources. We offer this space as a skin2skin medicine where our nervous systems can chill, reconnect, and regenerate.

💜What to expect

The first part of the day is about getting to know each other, our bodies and creating a shared language of touch, boundaries and desires. 
We will teach simple tools for consent, trustbuilding and explore how intuitive play aligns well with trust and yielding. You will learn some basic and practical massage techniques and how to combine the wishes of the receiver with the natural flow of the giver.
We will gradually build up to exchanging a 60-minute full body massage with oil. Nudity is welcome but not required. During a demonstration, we will also show a simple way of including the ge****ls as a natural and equal part of the whole body. Please note that our focus is not on high arousal or or****ic energy, but on welcoming all parts of the body into a state of relaxation, pleasure, and regeneration.

💜You are invited to a playful and embodied learning space about attachment theory, which relates to all kinds of relationships.
 
🫀This is a space to get to know your own Drama Llama – your inner core relational beliefs of love, connection, and belonging, which can become unsettled and complicated when facing relational insecurities.

👁We will explore what typically wakes up your Drama Llama and how it feels in the body when it needs care and attention.
How can we stay connected to a sense of trust and safety in our relationships, while also exploring the world outside of them? What will your Drama Llama need from you to stay connected to yourself?
And what does it mean to expand our sense of attachment to our ancestors, groups, communities, cultures, and the natural world around us?
Through discussion, movement, and touch, we will get curious about our differences in the dance of love, intimacy, safety, autonomy, commitment, and freedom.

• A basic introduction to attachment theory and its history
• An understanding of your own styles of attachment
• Embodied tools for self- and co-regulation
• Knowledge and tools on how to apply self-parenting strategies
• Attachment repair and accountability
• A general somatic approach and embodied explorations of attachment

Each month we will meet for a long Saturday and the following Thursday evening. These sessions will be for exploration, somatic learning, personal growth, fun, and celebration of embodied q***rness.

Oct. 23rd. Thursday evening: Intimate Improvisation - Ritual play. Impulse awareness. Non-verbal consent. Intuitive touch. Playfulness as a relational skillset.



Nov. 8th. Full Saturday: Attachment and Belonging - working with relational roots. Meeting your drama lama. Identifying your own relational reparative experiences.



Nov. 13th. Thursday evening: Make a Wish! Individual desires explored collectively. Co-creation of meaningful scenarios. A brave space of expression.

WHY TOUCH? NERVOUS SYSTEM REGULATION

Through touch, the nervous system can find regulation, which can become a safe way to revisit and integrate painful experiences from the past.

This slowed-down process helps us acknowledge and befriend the protective patterns and belief systems that are stuck in our bodies from traumatic experiences.

Moments of new awareness can let light shine through the cracks, revealing the strengths, resources and desires that lie beneath pain.
As we open to the body’s experiences, the mind follows, unlocking new perspectives and choices in life.

A workshop on touch as a community practice, led by the SKINSHIP collective - Andrea Lei and Ayo Gry

In this workshop we explore how touch serves as a source of connection and belonging in a community. We establish a language and sensitivity around individual needs and wishes, and create an embodied, playful way of getting to know each other. We sharpen our senses by slowing down and listening. How can embodied listening be a practice for building trust? How can individual desires nurture the collective body?

We will work in pairs and trios, guided by simple exercises on how to give and receive attentive, consensual touch. This workshop focuses on care and connection and is not for sexual exploration. Everyone is welcome; no previous experience is needed.

We, Axel and Ayo are both bodyworkers and facilitators and we have been a couple for 7 years. We are excited to host this workshop inspired by our professional- as well as personal experiences from being in a long term non-monogamous relationship.
