Here another sports mouthguard for another competitor: This athlete chose something deeply personal: a tribute to his beloved dog. The mouthguard features a heartwarming doggy design that comes to life the moment he smiles - like a small, meaningful reminder of his loyal companion right there with him in every match.

Ken is a personal fitness and Pilates instructor who lives and breathes movement. When he is not coaching, he is going all out on the mats!

Right before his competition, we got him his new custom-made mouthguard just in time and it paid off:
According to Ken, the mouthguard saved him from a tight submission attempt, already making the investment worth it. He went on to secure 3rd place at the tournament. Congratulations!

For his design, he chose a large-area sticker featuring a flower field with the world-famous Shiba Inu Kabosu, the iconic Doge meme!

To many more safe training sessions and successful tournaments ahead!

Sarah is known as the heart and mother of the club: always there for everyone, a deeply committed volunteer and the person you can rely on no matter what. Whether it’s helping out, organizing, or simply being present, she’s someone who quietly keeps things running and supports the whole team.

For her custom mouthguard, Sarah chose a laminate design with a white outside, blue inside, and delicate wings on both sides. Clean and thoughtfully detailed made to suit someone who gives so much to others, both on and off the mats.

Patrick is a BJJ brown belt under who used to train at and . Long before joining team masao_grappling, he used to drop-in from time to time to add value to our training. Now he has become a valued member in Lingen.

Patrick requested a a simple pink mouthguard with his (former) nickname „Locke“ imprinted, a fitting reference to his curly hairstyle when his hair is grown long.

Thank you Patrick for paving the way for others of the team to get custom-made mouthguards!

Emre is BJJ practitioner from the Netherlands training at sportschool_herbert who I had the chance to meet and train with at in Tokyo. With the help of his dentist from the Netherlands, we managed to get him his own custom-made mouthguard. I am very happy to see that his new mouthguard served as a lucky charm for his first blue belt competition and I hope that his mouthguard will serve him a long-time - at least till he reaches purple belt level!

For his mouthguard, he requested a black one with eye-catching white fangs visible upon smiling. Upon second look, you can see a little depiction of the anime character Luffy from One Piece picking his nose for comedic effect. The right side has his initials imprinted alongside the Dutch and Turkish flag to represent his heritage. The right side features an array of letters. Can you guess what the letters mean?

Can’t wait to train with you, again! See you next time in Japan or in the Netherlands!

Gerome, another long-time member of the Masao squad, is not only a tough competitor but also a dedicated kickboxing coach at Masao Grappling (). Known for his relentless drive and commitment to train within and beyond the team in Lingen, Gerome stands out as both an athlete and a character.

For his custom mouthguard, Gerome requested a multi-colored design featuring a black outer surface and a red inner surface. To reflect his Grappling style which involves heavy leg locking and painful ankle locks, a foot in chains, a skull and the bold imprint „leg reaper“ can be seen.

I’m grateful to support Gerome by providing him a protective and well-fitting mouthguard that will accompany him on his journey back into the competitive MMA scene.

Like his brother (), Christoph is a long-time and respected member at Team Masao Grappling ().

Christoph’s mouthguard is a classic black & blue camouflage mouthguard. His mouthguard shows the German flag on one side, a clever word-play on his/his brother’s last name on the other side and a circle enclosing a triangle placed in the center.

Currently, Christoph is recovering from an injury and I hope him to be back in training, soon! Speedy recovery!

Alex is a long-time and valued member at Masao Grappling (). Currently, he is coaching the upcoming generation in the kid’s program.

For Alex, we designed a green mouthguard featuring black stripes across the surface, flanked by a cute yet vicious penguin and shark on each end and a clever word-play on his last name added for a final touch in the front.

I’m happy to back my team and contribute to their journey toward the top of their sport. Excited for what’s ahead!

Max is a valuable and respected member of Masao Grappling (masao_grappling) and a true multi-talent, excelling in all three disciplines: Grappling, Wrestling & K1 Kickboxing! Highly disciplined and hardworking, he is an upcoming role model and also plays an active role in coaching our kid’s program. I am excited to see what he will achieve in the future!

Thanks to the expertise of our local dentist (), we were able to create this mouthguard internationally with precision. A two-phase silicone impression ensured perfect accuracy, even with delivery to Japan. Thank you for this opportunity!

For Max, we designed a Rick & Morty-themed mouthguard featuring a black stripe in the center, flanked by two turqoise stripes and his initials placed on the sides for a personal touch.
