We tell ourselves little lies.

“I’ll rest later.”
“I just need to push a little more.”
“I’m fine. I’ve got this.”

But later keeps moving.
And rest keeps waiting.

We wear exhaustion like a badge,
convincing ourselves it means we’re doing enough,
being enough.

The truth?
You’re not falling behind by pausing.
You’re burning out by refusing to.

Stop lying to yourself.
Rest isn’t something you earn someday,
it’s something you need right now.

I really loved when Judith Hanson Lasater said, “Holding hands with the present moment,” at today’s Relax and Renew Training I’m currently assisting with Judith and Lizzie Lasater.

For me, it describes perfectly that force is not the path to feeling whole again, and that slowing down is the way to return to yourself.

I started by waking up my feet, especially massaging Kidney 1 located on the sole of the foot with the Recovery Rounds from RAD

Then I practiced Tree Pose for grounding and finished with a nourishing Savasana to feel safe and supported.

I especially loved the bolster behind my legs.
