Glaucoma is not just an age-related condition — it can also affect young people.
Juvenile glaucoma often develops without symptoms and is typically diagnosed around age 18.
The damage it causes to the optic nerve is usually irreversible, which makes early detection and intervention so important.

At SAVIR, we go beyond conventional eye care. Our innovative, neuroscience-based therapy can help improve vision — even in challenging cases of juvenile glaucoma.

Identifying Vision Loss: Early Indicators You Shouldn’t Ignore

Any subtle change in your vision could signal a more serious underlying condition.
If you answer “yes” to any of the following statements, contact your eye doctor immediately to schedule a checkup.

- Do you experience blurry vision which seems cloudy or foggy?

- Do you frequently bump into objects or people?

- Do you notice flashing or floating spots or spiderwebs?

- Do you get frequent, unexplained headaches that seem to worsen during your daily activities?

- Do you have eye muscle weakness in one eye so one eye is out of line?

- Do your eyes not move in parallel together?

- Do you sometimes get double vision?

- Are you often moody?

- Have you had a seizure?

- Do you feel like there is a “curtain” closing or fog developing over one or both eyes?

- Are you hypersensitive to light and experience glare?

- Do you get easily tired when reading or working with a computer monitor?

- Do you find yourself discontinuing activities, such as reading, driving, or opening mail?

- Is it tougher to identify colors?

- Do you find yourself squinting, knocking over glasses in restaurants, not getting food on your fork, or missing your drinking glass when pouring water?

- Is it tough to walk on uneven or bumpy surfaces, navigate steps, or find things?

- Do you see lots of glare on the street at night?

This patient suffering from optic neuropathy was able to improve vision in his left eye by 36% — and in his right eye by 55%.

He was diagnosed with arteritic anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (A-AION), a condition that typically causes permanent visual damage.

After SAVIR therapy, he described his entire visual field as noticeably brighter.
He experienced better sharpness and contrast, and could even recognize his mouth in the mirror again — something he couldn’t do before.
Looking downward became easier, and walking felt less visually exhausting.

SAVIR therapy helps activate residual vision — even in cases where improvement once seemed impossible.

Entwicklungsgeschichte
