Life wasn’t calm when I found yoga… but maybe that’s exactly why I needed it.

At 23, everything felt overwhelming, loud, and out of control. I didn’t start yoga because I had it all together — I started because I was searching for something… anything that could bring me back to myself.

And somehow, after just one class, something shifted.
Not in my outside world, but inside me.
A quiet. A softness. A feeling I hadn’t experienced in a long time.

I kept coming back to that feeling.
Again and again.

Over the years, yoga became more than just a practice.
It became my anchor in chaos, my discipline on hard days, my space to breathe, feel, and reset.

It taught me how to listen.
To slow down.
To trust.

Yoga didn’t change my life overnight…
but it changed the way I move through it. ✨

For my Yoga asana enthusiasts:
This is how I like to have fun sometimes. To test my mobility, strength and balance. How do you have fun?!

Downdog -> 3 legged dog-> high lunge -> bound crescent lunge -> seated bird of paradise -> standing bird of paradise
Still got plenty of work to do in order to make these positions perfect (for me), especially the standing bird of paradise. But it’s just a matter of time. See my happy face at the end🤪🤪💪🏻
