🍎 Kids and Apples 🍎
Getting kids to eat healthily can be fun! Here's a playful apple snack idea your kids will love. 🍎👶
Apple Slice "Sandwiches" Recipe:
Ingredients:
2 large apples, cored and sliced into rings
4 tbsp peanut butter (or almond butter for a nut-free option)
2 tbsp granola or crushed nuts
Instructions:
1. Take an apple ring and spread a thin layer of peanut butter on one side.
2. Sprinkle granola or crushed nuts over the peanut butter.
3. Place another apple ring on top, creating a "sandwich".
4. Repeat with the remaining apple rings.
5. Serve immediately and watch your little ones enjoy!
Tip: To prevent apple slices from browning, you can dip them in a mixture of water and a little lemon juice before assembling.
