🤝 Our partnership with humedica 🌍

We have been working closely with Humedica e.V. for several years. Together, we have already implemented several projects – most recently through a wheelchair donation, which has now arrived at its destination, a community centre in north-western Ukraine.

During our visit, we gained exciting insights into the valuable work of the team, which goes far beyond providing emergency aid.

September is Pulmonary Fibrosis Awareness Month 🫁

Pulmonary fibrosis is a rare but serious lung disease in which the lung tissue becomes scarred and hardened. Those affected suffer from shortness of breath, chronic coughing and reduced performance.

The disease is not yet curable, but medication, respiratory therapy and the right support from medical aids can help make everyday life easier and maintain quality of life.

Since 2005, our site in Bistrița has been an integral part of the Drive Medical production network - with a clear focus on quality, efficiency and technical innovation.
On an area of over 2,000 m², our dedicated team uses state-of-the-art technology to manufacture products that are used worldwide - such as our popular Ticco toilet seats, Delphi shower chairs and the Bellavita Nova bath lift.

What makes us proud is that many of these products are created directly on site, from development to assembly - with people who are committed to quality and innovation day in, day out 🔧

We visited humedica e.V. 📢

Since 1979, the international aid organisation humedica has been making an indispensable contribution to emergency and disaster relief in over 100 countries 🌍

The reason for our visit was a donation of wheelchairs 🦽 We have been working with humedica for several years and will continue to do so in the future!

We knew in advance that does important work. But it was only during this visit that we really realised the central role that donations in kind play. We are happy to be able to support them with small contributions – but the focus is on the impressive work that humedica does every day, often without the public attention it deserves.

We had the opportunity to meet a highly motivated team for whom helping others is not just a job, but a genuine personal concern. We have the utmost respect for them and would like to express our sincere thanks for the open insights and the invitation to Kaufbeuren.

By the way: 85 cents of every euro donated goes directly to the projects. Low administration costs – maximum impact for the people! We think that's great 🤝

Once again, our summer party this year was filled with fun, cool drinks and good food 🍹
A special highlight was the giant human table football game at the Mannheim site ⚽ At the Isny site, a food truck with delicious burgers and fries put smiles on everyone's faces 🍔 The good weather was shared fairly 😎
