🎷 100 Years of Keilwerth – and what a celebration it was!
At the BRAWO fair in Stuttgart, we didn’t just showcase our saxophones — we truly brought them to life!
Saxophone legend Pepe Lienhard joined the festivities, pictured here with Jochen Keilwerth, grandson of Julius Keilwerth. Pepe shared inspiring stories from his remarkable life with the sax.
We also had a powerhouse lineup of live insights:

—all showing what the saxophone can really do.
And Julian Hutter Hutter Music) offered a fascinating look behind the scenes of organization and production.

🎷 100 Jahre Keilwerth – was für ein Fest!
Auf der BRAWO in Stuttgart haben wir unsere Saxophone nicht nur ausgestellt, sondern richtig hochleben lassen!
Saxophon-Legende Pepe Lienhard war natürlich mit am Start – hier im Bild mit Jochen Keilwerth, dem Enkel von Julius Keilwerth. Pepe nahm uns mit auf eine Reise durch sein beeindruckendes Saxophonleben.
Dazu gab’s geballte Praxis-Power:

The Raschèr Academy Orchestra visited our Buffet Crampon showroom in Geretsried on 20 October. We made our showroom available as a rehearsal room so that the saxophone ensemble could prepare for their WINTERREISE concert on 21 October at the Hidalgo Festival in Munich. The ensemble will perform Franz Schubert's song cycle, arranged by Jay Schwartz, together with singer Bernhard Hirtreiter under the baton of conductor Gregor Mayrhofer. The Raschèr Academy Orchestra is a project of the Raschèr Saxophone Quartet to promote young saxophonists. After a long day of rehearsals, the ensemble gave a ‘sneak preview’ in our premises in the evening. It was such a pleasure to have you as our guests.

Das Raschèr Academy Orchestra war am 20. Oktober zu Gast in unserem Buffet Crampon Showroom in Geretsried. Wir stellten unseren Showroom als Proberaum zur Verfügung, damit sich das Saxophonensemble auf das Konzert WINTERREISE am 21. Oktober beim Hidalgo Festival in München vorbereiten konnte. Den Liedzyklus von Franz Schubert arrangiert von Jay Schwartz interpretiert das Ensemble zusammen mit dem Sänger Bernhard Hirtreiter unter Leitung des Dirigenten Gregor Mayrhofer. Das Raschèr Academy Orchestra ist ein Projekt des Raschèr Saxophonquartetts zur Förderung von jungen Saxophonistinnen und Saxophonisten. Nach dem langen Probetag gab das Ensemble am Abend eine „Sneak Preview“ in unseren Räumlichkeiten. So eine Freude, dass ihr unsere Gäste wart.

🎷✨ Jubiläumsparty – 100 Jahre Julius Keilwerth ✨🎷
Am 22. November feiern wir nach dem Brawo-Messetag im Mövenpick Hotel Stuttgart Airport unser großes Jubiläum! 🥳
Mit dabei: das Weniger/Morello US Quartet – vier Ausnahmemusiker, die Jazz auf höchstem Niveau auf die Bühne bringen.
Vier Ausnahmemusiker verbinden dabei ihre unverwechselbaren Klangwelten zu einem gemeinsamen Erlebnis. Zupackendes Timing und ein hypnotisches melodisches Zusammenspiel lassen ein Konzert von seltener Intensität entstehen. Das Weniger/Morello US Quartet bringt Jazz auf höchstem Niveau auf die Bühne. Peter Weniger und Rick Morello vereinen ihre Virtuosität mit dem weltbekannten Bassisten John Goldsby und dem legendären Drummer Adam Nussbaum – gemeinsam schaffen sie eine Verbindung aus moderner Jazzästhetik, groovenden Rhythmen und lyrischer Tiefe.
Mit diesem exklusiven Konzert setzt Buffet Crampon den festlichen Höhepunkt eines ganzen Tages voller Workshops und Begegnungen rund um das Thema Saxophon auf der Brawo Messe Stuttgart.

Joining us will be the Weniger/Morello US Quartet – four exceptional musicians who bring jazz of the highest calibre to the stage.
Four exceptional musicians combine their distinctive soundscapes to create a shared experience. Gripping timing and hypnotic melodic interplay result in a concert of rare intensity. The Weniger/Morello US Quartet brings jazz of the highest calibre to the stage. Peter Weniger and Rick Morello combine their virtuosity with world-renowned bassist John Goldsby and legendary drummer Adam Nussbaum – together they create a fusion of modern jazz aesthetics, groovy rhythms and lyrical depth.
With this exclusive concert, Buffet Crampon marks the festive highlight of a whole day of workshops and encounters on the theme of the saxophone at the Brawo Messe Stuttgart.

Wir feiern 100 Jahre Keilwerth – auch mit dem Workshop „Groove-Patrouille“ und dem Saxophonisten Johannes Müller. Er ist Saxophonist bei der Big Band der Bundeswehr und bei ihm lernt ihr Grundlagen des Jazz und setzt das direkt praktisch um. Darüber hinaus vermittelt Johannes Müller praxisnahe Tipps aus seinem Musikeralltag, die helfen, das eigene Saxophonspiel abwechslungsreicher, stilistisch vielseitiger und grooviger zu gestalten.

Voraussetzungen:
Der Workshop richtet sich an alle ab 4 Jahre Spielerfahrung auf dem Saxophon.

Bitte mitbringen:
Instrument samt Mundstück und Zubehör, Notenständer, Schreibmaterial.

He is a saxophonist with the German Armed Forces Big Band, and he will teach you the basics of jazz and put them into practice right away. In addition, Johannes Müller will share practical tips from his everyday life as a musician that will help you make your own saxophone playing more varied, stylistically versatile and groovy.

Requirements:
The workshop is aimed at anyone with at least 4 years of experience playing the saxophone.

Please bring:
Your instrument, including mouthpiece and accessories, music stand, writing materials (pen and paper).

Julian Hutter war viele Jahre als Musiker aktiv und ist heute im Bereich Management tätig. In seinem Beitrag spricht er über Themen, die für den musikalischen Alltag eine Rolle spielen – von der Organisation und Planung bis hin zum Umgang mit Social Media. Dabei gibt er Impulse, die für alle Musiker und Musikerinnen, Ensembles und Vereine gleichermaßen spannend sein können.
Der Workshop richtet sich an Musiker und Musikerinnen, Bands- und Ensembleleitungen sowie Vereinsvorstände.
