My name is Joanna Polkowska, and I welcome you to my practice, where massage becomes an art of creation, attuned to your natural rhythm, state and pace of healing. Guided by the ancient tradition of Hawaiian Lomi Lomi and the precision of natural Face Sculpting, my work honours body’s innate wisdom — the power to release, restore, and return to harmony. Through mindful touch and presence, I offer you a path of transformation where true well-being can unfold. Rooted in the lineage of Hawaiian master Kahu Abraham Kawai’i, my practice of Lomi Lomi Nui is a living tradition of this deeply restorative, flowing bodywork that honors the interconnectedness of body, mind, spirit, and ancestry. My teachers, Susan Pa’iniu Floyd and Ho’okahi Tamara Stephens — both direct students of Kahu — have passed on the depth and spirit of this tradition. For a decade I offer sessions for those seeking self-awareness, embodiment, and contentment through a healthy, connected body. In 2024, I was drawn to Facemodeling — a multidimensional face sculpting modality that works deeply with the fascia and structural layers of the face, head, and upper torso. Like Lomi Lomi, this holistic treatment stimulates the renewal processes of the body and allows instant visible effects. Nature and movement are my healing ground. Like their flow, I trust my hands and find beauty in the quiet unfolding of each session. The bodywork I practice is both subtle and intuitive, inviting presence and opening a space where real connection and healing can take place.

Lomi Lomi puts the person in touch with himself on kinesthetic, emotional and psychological levels. The changeable dynamic of soothing and vigorous strokes shifts awareness inwards resulting in release of tension, softening of sore muscles and boosting the immune system. Like a ceremony in which the touch is given respectfully with the whole being, this bodywork responds to where and who we are NOW. For that reason, there is no one "right" or rigid manner of doing Lomi Lomi.

Hawaiian Lomi Lomi addresses your Inner Power, the unlimited source of life force you can tap into at all times. Living abundant life means to restore balance between what we feel (heart), where we feel that (body) and what is our intuitive response to it (soul). This alignment allows free energy flow, attracting spectrum of life events in which we express and our innate talents and creative passion.
